What do you mean by "peculiar"?

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

I think he means, do you put a lot of thought into it or not. Or maybe he wants you to interpret so he can scan your projections. I don't know...

I don't care at all unless someone I care about complains about my appearance. Then I'll dress as they want because I really don't care to begin with. It always seems like a distraction from what I really care about or want to do.

I'm not particular about my appearance; I don't take an extraordinary time and concern about what I'm going to wear. I just have three sort of general outfits; casual - jeans and nice shirt; sporty -sweats, and dressy -I wear a dress. Summer time -I usually like to wear sun dresses. I keep it simple.

i'm pretty particular about my appearance. it takes me a while to get ready for the day. i take forever when i shop to find just what i like and what i think looks good on me. it can ruin my day if i feel like i don't look nice.

    very peculiar.

i love the ritual of dressing myself or getting to inhabit different versions of self.

i used to dress myself very elaborately and allow my clothes to sort of make contact with the world for me (i'm very shy) but this has been the case less and less, i think. but dressing is still an incredibly important creative act for me.

I think I'm more peculiar than particular...I'm willing to wear a lot of things and unwilling to wear a lot of things. I would rather wear a tie-dye shirt, plaid shorts, and a top hat in public than a low-cut shirt, jeans, and makeup.

Sometimes I dress like I wouldn't do everything for attention.

Sometimes I dress real flamboyant/eccentric, wearing a kilt, putting makeup, septum jewelry, mohawk, shock colour hair. One day I'll have a Prince Albert.

Allow me to correct myself: I just wear whatever T-shirt, underwear, and pants are at the top of my laundry basket.

Although I don't think there's any reason for me to wear peculiar underwear, other than a matter of comfort. (Although, I really can't stand most underwear that is not 100% cotton.)

Somewhat/in the middle. A lot of it is my culture/lifestyle. I grew up in a depressed, blue-collar town and so people here don't really care much about appearances. They're actually mean to people who are pretty, it's funny. (just like hollywood people would make fun of them) Yeah I don't really fit in here. But I don't think I'd fit in a really stuck up rich place either. I feel stuck. =/
