    Default Anastasia Soare (Eyebrow guru)

A Romanian immigrant who became the eyebrow guru

    What type is she?

Anastasia studied some unlikely subjects for a women who would end up in aesthetics and beauty, however it was exactly such knowledge of mathematics, engineering, art and architecture that brought her to regard things like the Fibonacci numbers and the anatomical structure of the body (as depicted by Leonardo Da Vinci), and the golden ratio concept which is a mathematical equation used by artists due to it’s aesthetic proportions, and use them to create a formula for flawless brows.

With the knowledge of anatomical structure added to her aesthetic studies, once Anastasia arrived in California, she used the golden ratio to create perfect eyebrow shapes, as well as a line of natural beauty products to compliment her exclusive techniques. Now, in her Beverly Hills salon (and another in Brentwood, California), she offers unique skincare and perfect eyebrow shaping to her celebrity clients, and also retails her innovative beauty products and stenciling kits through exclusive shops like Nordstrom and Sephora, not only in the US but also abroad

my guess is Ti-LII - her approach to styling is very architectural/anatomic in nature, little personal touch in it, it's like she is fitting some forms and contours together, from the comments she made about her failed marriage she is very likely a T-ego

I agree with those who say Ti base. She's all about proportions & the mathematics of art. She originally wanted to be an architect, but was forced to get into aesthetics when she moved to the US because she didn't speak english. There she decided to develop & apply the golden ratio and became famous for it.

I like art too, but could care less about the mathematical aspect of it. For me it's all about emotions & feelings.

    Why? Eyebrows?

Actually, the other day I was at Tropical Smoothie & this random guy in line looked at me and shouted "YOU SHOULD MOVE TO LA!!" then everyone in the building just stared at me & I felt really awkward... lol.

    logics > ethics.

the thing she's famous for..it's definitely a sensory skill. Does that make her a Sensory type. No, not neccessarily, but it increases the probability.

I don't think it's necessarily a sensory skill. I'm very much an iNtuitive type, and I make a lot of similar geometric observations. Soare's way of thinking about faces smacks very strongly of Ne/Ti, in that she sees these abstract spatial relationships as an ideal to model something concrete to.

One of the things that has always surprised me about math of all kinds is how strongly I feel about it. To a sufficiently Ti-addled mind, these kind of "forms" represent elegance and beauty, uncluttered by the niggling details of a concrete object. INTjs are even more likely than other Ti-egos to systematically apply these forms to everything around them.

idk but her products are straight up awesome, at least that brow powder stuff. i kind of think logical type as well, somewhat paula begoun-ish in the way she approaches makeup and beauty (e.g. there is not one eyebrow shape that is preferable, it's all dependent on the geometric features of your face.) i think she is some type similar to begoun. compare to michelle phan who often gives beauty tips that are often totally unfounded on scientific evidence, but "cool" seeming.
