Default Asperger Test for social awkwardness

After seeing the schizotypal thread and the socially awkward thread, I figured it would be a good time to post this test. I'm kind of curious to see how forum members would fare on this test. After enough people post their results, I will post mine too.

The test assesses five different areas. Autistic-like responses will show poor social skill, attention switching, communication and imagination, and an exaggerated attention to detail. In other words, geekiness. You scored 30. The ranking below provides some idea of where that AQ fits in.

    I got 20.

I'd guess most NT types rank fairly high on this quiz, and SF types fairly low.

    Lol?

I do this when I'm driving a lot. I'll take mental note of the plate number, and then start coming up with things that the numbers could mean... and I can stay on one plate number for a good 10 minutes before moving on to another. Easy car entertainment, I suppose.

    Anyways: "You scored 33"

from watching her videos it almost seems like people with aspergers have difficulty with the ethical functions, primarily . Intresting.

I don't think there's a link to type and test score except probably what Krig said that NTs are more likely to score high and SFs are more likely to score low.

I actually believe her personally. Its clear that she has taken great effort to pretend to be normal that she has actually gotten good at it. It's like learning a foreign language, you practice it enough and you'll get good at it eventually. It's not like having aspergers condemns you to being a social outcast, anybody can improve their social skills with enough hard work. Here's a video where she explains why she appears normal:

I don't disbelieve her, and I do think it's possible that she does have asperger's syndrome. Then again, I also think a lot of doctors & therapist tend to throw diagnosis's at people without much thought.

I had a therapist who tried to diagnose me with asperger's syndrome after I confided to her my issues with shyness. I researched it and decided to end my sessions with her. Now days if you admit to being shy you also risk being diagnosed with asperger's. -__-
