Fe and Si users in real life.
EII, ILI, ESI, LII, SLE, IEI online (say, in new members on the forum)

EPs can be a bit ambiguous due to lots of public-anchoring and chameleonic tendencies.... I_Ts can look very similar to each other for the opposite reason.
Fi can sometimes appear like Ti if you don't know ppl well, especially in a formal context (say, colleagues, public institutions and events etc.).

I think identicals. Beta NFs because they can tend to stick to the same subculture/wardrobes. Alpha NTs and Delta STs for similar reasons. Duals and Semiduals are somewhat easy, but that may actually be due more to them being IJ. I agree that it depends on what you're exposed to but it seems that, even after you've been exposed to all types, some are easier to spot than others.

I would think it depends on who youve been exposed to, in addition to other variables.

I can spot IEI SLE ILI ESI & SLI pretty good.
Projection is ordinary. Person A projects at person B, hoping tovalidate something about person A by the response of person B. However, person B, not wanting to be an obejct of someone elses ego and guarding against existential terror constructs a personality which protects his ego and maintain a certain sense of a robust and real self that is different and separate from person A. Sadly, this robust and real self, cut off by defenses of character from the rest of the world, is quite vulnerable and fragile given that it is imaginary and propped up through external feed back. Person B is dimly aware of this and defends against it all the more, even desperately projecting his anxieties back onto person A, with the hope of shoring up his ego with salubrious validation. All of this happens without A or B acknowledging it, of course. Because to face up to it consciously is shocking, in that this is all anybody is doing or can do and it seems absurd when you realize how pathetic it is.

I tend to have the easiest time spotting my identicals. ILE, SLE, and IEI seem easier for me to spot for some reason.

Quasi-ID can be tricky at times. I have mistaken them for my identicals before. Same with SEE/ESE, superficially they look alike. Same club, same dimensionality of functions but when you look a little closer, they're nothing alike at all.

Mostly extroverts, obviously. In my area, there are mostly alphas and betas:

A TON of ESEs and SLEs, I frequently see ILEs around, but they aren't, like, everywhere— SEEs are pretty common according to people I know, but I haven't come across more than one.

the types with wich you've had most experience and typed them
I also notice conflictors in quantity, probably because they get my attention as the most different from me

I tend to observe introverts more than extroverts, the types I easily spot are usually ESI, SLI and IEI. Oh and SEE! Because my childhood friend, my father, my first crush and my brother are this type.

That just means you have to look for the most unnoticeable and inconspicuous person in the room and you found them.

It tends to depend on how clearly the type expresses itself in a person not really type specific.
