    Default Muammar Gadhafi is dead.

Not the last of the delusionary crackpot totalitarians, but pretty close. Kinda pissed that a Predator drone strike was instrumental in the demise of everybody's favorite clown.

Gadhafi's odd life does provide a lot of insight into the delusional mind.

Yeah I do think he was a good guy. I guess it was kinda hard on him in the end, but hey, he was old. Unless you're lucky with say, a heart attack or other aneurism in your sleep, death is gonna be pretty rough. At least he went out instantaneously, after suffering that minor bullet pain for a bit.

Boy am I glad I'm not Libyan, or else I wouldn't be able to see the good side of this swell guy. Unless I was one of his elite forces, of course. But hey, looks like they are all dead. Ah, guess I always could have teamed up with Saif though. So much more brainy than his dad.

America military officers are a bunch of f***ing cowards. Hit a man from the air when his back is turned... really man. And a guy who was fleeing, no less. What ever happened to G.I. Joe hoisting his gun in the air when Cobra yells, "Retreat! REEEE-TREAT!!!"

I tell you... zero class. They've got SKYNET on the brain.

Now in all serious, it's an interesting paradox that Gadhafi reportedly had more respect for non-Libyans than for Libyans. Why was that?

Wayyy back in the 1980s or so, when I was a kid, I was in some kind of music class where they gave us an assignment to write a song together as a group. I'm not sure if they gave us a topic that we were supposed to write about, or what, but we somehow ended up writing about Khaddafi. I still remember some bits and pieces of the song.

    Hey Mo, we wanna know,
What can we do to stop your show?
We don't want the world to blow
    Hey Mo, you gotta go.

We think that you're da da da da (I forget this)
We know that you're a jerk
da da da da da da da da
You've really gone berserk! (I'm the one who wrote this line, in our group collaboration)

    I forget the rest.

As for my opinion about his death: I'm not in the mood to get started on that subject, and don't have enough energy to get into a big fight with anyone about something that none of us have any control over. But... 1. The US is usually partly or mostly responsible for the wars going on out there, or at least, they play a very large role in it; 2. The US also is often the one who puts these dictators into power in the first place. But eh, I'm not going to argue about this right now.

Sometimes if I get too excited, the idea of murder seems really enticing.
I bet they were like wild animals when they killed him.
Someone probably bludgeoned him to death.

I wonder if they tortured him at all...like dragging him alive on the ground chained to a truck until he hit his head on a rock and died...

The Land Where Truth is a Lie, indeed. I read a report yesterday that due to a slew of reprisal killings, the largest tribe in Libya, Warfallah, is launching an insurgency against the NTC. Bet you can't guess who the leader is....

At first I thought this said "Mahatma Ghandi is dead." And I thought, "Yeah, and?" Then I got my glasses.
