their heightened awareness of their surroundings (EP types have a lot of this kind of outer-awareness), their energy and drive (SLEs are usually very much in touch with what they want while IEI's wishes are rather vague and unconscious), their flexibility, ability to quickly re-orient, sponteneity/randomness granted by their irrationality

SLE's seem so different from the outside but talking to them you realise you're the same. They make you feel safe and make you laugh without intending to. They know how to smooth talk, they're experienced and very clever but innocent at the same time. The way they are not afraid to stare right into you're eyes and lick their lips.

I don't know how anyone can click with them, especially the women. I know plenty of them, including my mom, but recently I met an ESTp and she was all up in my face, which is something they love to do and I hate that. She managed to step on my foot and I just stood their acting all subservient like I always do with ESTps.

My number one priority and what makes me most attracted to SLEs is their amazing capacity to sort of naturally tell the difference between my bullshit and my real issues. And they don't really step on my real issues, and if they do, it's rare. But they'll call me on bullshit like all the time. And if I talk too much they tell me to shut up. I like that. I also like how they're pursuing something, 'cause I'm pursuing something, and I have no interest in being with a girl who isn't after anything. How can we be on the same team, how can I support you, if we don't have a goal? And if I'm not supporting you, why would you support me?

So yeah, those are some reasons SLEs are cool. But really, for you, what you need to know is: be yourself. Completely yourself. Don't lie, don't bullshit, don't anything, and IEI girls will like you for it. Obviously if you feel the urge to do something exceedingly stupid/inappropriate, then don't because there's a limit even to what IEIs find charming/cute/acceptable craziness. But short of like full-on crazy (and you probably have very little full-on crazy in you), let it all hang out. Be real. Pursue them like you know you can and want to. Act. Move. Persuade. Do. Chase. They'll eat it up, sooner or later.

Their directness and confidence makes this pressure slide right off of my shoulders; I feel like I'm taken under their wing in some weird way. They're grounded.

I feel almost instantly safe around the right SLE's. They give me practical advice, look me in the eye, and I feel like I can trust them.

I can bounce how I'm feeling off of them, and they help reassure me, a lot like LSI's do. I need someone that can be blunt with me and call me out, like silverchris said, when I need to be called out. They tell me what I need to hear.

At the opposite end of the spectrum, I hate when someone is being vague about their feelings or playing games; I just want someone who can be honest with me and tell me what's going through their head. Not knowing what is going on and having to guess kills me.

lol like I said, SLE's are like doggies. At first the hunt is a game to them; the more challenging, the better. If they feel like they can trust you & you pass their little tests then they begin to see you as valuable. They'll want to keep you around & stay by your side.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. An SLE should be more likely than any other type to pursue a person they're interested in and pretty likely to win the affections of their pursued. So an IEI would be "deep" and different enough from themselves to keep things interested when they've won the chase so to speak.

Sometimes when I start talking, I'll pause and apologize for talking too much and SLE will say "no, no, I like it when you talk! keep going!" I guess cause I'm usually not the one doing most of the talking (especially when with SLE-Se who talks all.the.time).

But to answer the question, I'm drawn to them because of their self-confidence and propensity to say what they think, to tell it like it is, to get things done, to make hard decisions without looking back, to think for themselves with their own sense of right and wrong. I like their unapologetic nature and their soft, sensitive heart that would literally do anything, including kill, for those they love.

Maybe. I guess it's the natural tendency for IEI's to play games. To be honest, I don't know how anyone could be with an IEI. I could never date one. It'd leave me feeling too insecure. The push & pull, the emotional manipulation, the tendency to just disappear. I would never be able to date myself.

With SLE's it just works for some reason. It's just easy.
