I wonder if there's a better way to go about finding my enneagram type other than doing dozens of test which might not be that accurate anyway. Or is it possible for anyone to just pin a type for me based on what they've seen of my posts so that I could check it out?
Introspection seems like the best method. It might be clear to you which center you fit in best: Feeling(2, 3, 4), Thinking(5, 6, 7) or Instinctive(8, 9, 1). Then after that just zero in between the three that are left. The Thinking Center was pretty obvious in my case, 7 was too engaging and 6 was too anxious.
This site has a lot of descriptions of innate motivations and lifestyles of the types you might find that fit your self: http://www.9types.com/.
