    Default It's me Moredhel

    Hi everyone,

I thought it was about time I introduced myself outside of Delta. So yes I'm Moredhel...I also go by Sam *waves*.

I'm an LSE, -Si subtype if you care about that, ENTJ also using JCF definitions, 9w1 so/sx/sp in Enneagram.

    Anyway hi

An LSE 9 is an interesting combination. Want to talk about that?

Sure, how is interesting? Seemed like there is quite a few 9's over in delta.

Only among the Delta NFs. It is exceptionally uncommon for an LSE to be a 9, imo.
You are quite right, seems to be mostly EII's who are 9's.

Hi. 9 is weird for an LSE or any EJ really. 9s are supposed to be passive and I feel like that is the opposite of most EJs. I don't really put much stock in enneagram anyway.

Yup, try E1 instead, although it's somewhat the domain of IJs. Heck, whatever you do, don't go for E2.

I'm curious. Why did you type yourself as LSE, if I may ask?

(That makes you my conflictor and I don't want you to be. Lol)
Haha fair enough, I actually don't get along too badly with IEI's nothing too deep but not bad...EIE's however...Super-Ego relationship with 2 extroverts

Well I type LSE initially as I'm a definite Delta Caregiver and Logic > Ethics and pretty much every other reason that would place me as a delta ST. I Type LSE > SLI because I don't really relate strongly to Si as a leading function, Te however is a perfect fit + I have a definite EJ temperament. That's just how I decided the type, since learning all the information elements I now relate to every function in it's position, I have no doubts.

I've also found since deciding on LSE all the relationships that didn't seem quite right when I considered SLI now are pretty spot on.

    That's the short version anyway.

Thanks, yeah I don't place a huge amount of stock in enneagram but the test results were ridiculously high for 9. Re-reading the 9 description I can see why it's so uncommon, it's defiantly geared more towards EII's but strangely it still fits . If I ever get around to it I'll read the others and self type but Hemo know a lot more about it than me and she happy with me as a 9.

BAHAHAHAH!!! You shouldn't judge all EIEs based on my poor choice in men.

Fair enough, SLI was the first type I landed on thanks to Hemo there, but that was back when we were confusing introversion with being a delta (or any serious type). Before I really learned my way around socionics I was happy enough with it but the temperament and the leading function never quite clicked with me. It only took one look at LSE to realise that was a perfect fit and the more I learn the more sure I get.

Thanks for the hat comment I think I may of lent that to a friend and never got it back

I can easily see 9 on the Enneagram for an LSE, especially an Si-LSE; I played music with one (come to think of it, he may have been a Te-LSE; tough call, but definitely LSE), and if it wasn't for him being a 1 to the extent of being a 1w9 as opposed to a 9w1, he would have been a 9. My neighbor, though... definite Si-LSE, definite 9w1! My Si-LSE friend is 8w9 I think, or 9w8, one or the other...

I beat the living shit out of this fictional LSE example but here goes - Hank from King of the Hill? I could accept 9w1 for him, though I think 1w9 could be more fitting...

    Anyways, welcome aboard!

I normally don't consider sub-type but you're right that 9 makes sense for -Si.

*cough* compared to Hank Hill...tough crowd, as far as fictional typing's go though I can see it.

What do these signs mean—, , etc.? Why cannot socionists use symbols Ne, Ni etc. as in MBTI? Just because they have somewhat different meaning. Socionics and MBTI, each in its own way, have slightly modified the original Jung's description of his 8 psychological types. For this reason, (Ne) is not exactly the same as Ne in MBTI.

Just one example: in MBTI, Se (extraverted sensing) is associated with life pleasures, excitement etc. By contrast, the socionic function (extraverted sensing) is first and foremost associated with control and expansion of personal space (which sometimes can manifest in excessive aagression, but often also manifests in a capability of managing lots of people and things).

For this reason, we consider comparison between MBTI types and socionic types by functions to be rather useless than useful.
