I don't remember if I've commented on this.
This is just about the worst waste of time ever committed. I should just alphabetize my socks or something.

    Wow, you're alive. (0.0 )

Also, if you alphabetize your sock drawer, I want pics and an explanation on how you managed it.

Yes, I've been watching UK and Irish apprentice. Trump is such an idiot though that US version became unwatchable a few seasons ago.

Last survivor season was a still-born idea too.

As a side-note, I received an offer to run a national chain of specialty clinics. For some reason I'm feeling dutiful and unwilling to leave my useless job at my useless public hospital clinic. Anybody have a jackhammer that works on convictions?

Won't you post your typings somewhere? I really need those.

You could organize them by alphabetical color (black, blue, green, grey, etc).

Need those? How does that work? The mob boss doesn't give you back your children unless you give them a personality profile on Tom Pellereau?

But the sock plan becomes convoluted when you want to be exact, like, do you call it Fuchsia or Magenta? And is a particular sock auburn or carmine?

It's tricky and my ability with colours sucks. Where's an ESFp when you need one?

True. Guess it depends on how picky one wants to be.

You haven't asked for my thoughts, but I'll offer them anyway in the off-chance it helps.

What would do the most good for the most people? Is there anyone or anything that would get seriously hurt if you switched? Lastly but still importantly, if you didn't have to worry about "what's right" for a moment, which would you enjoy most?

That's what I'd ask myself, anyway. No need to actually answer.

Convictions aren't bad; they often just require some working with.
Oh, to find you in dreams - mixing prior, analog, and never-beens... facts slip and turn and change with little lucidity. except the strong, permeating reality of emotion.

    You called?

First off, leave your socks free and don't bundle them - it's unnecessary effort to bundle socks, and it stresses the material, causing them to last less long.

Also, look into one or more of these:

I organize my clothes in them, and it's a perfect system I always fold shirts, for similar reasons; if they're hung, then the neck hole gets stretched... as for dressy stuff? That goes in the closet!

I avoid the hell out of Walmart - there was even a punk rock band I produced called The Bodacious that made a song called Walmart

Hahaha, that reminds me of Jonathan Coulton who I think is a pretty awesome geeky folk singer/guitarist. He made a song about Ikea but I think his song about Office zombies is the best!

Hmm... I could probably better improve the general standard of care by taking the offer.
That would probably decrease the chance of people being hurt by crappy doctors.

What would I enjoy... There's quite a bit of fun and freedom in the public clinic. With everybody being as irresponsible as they are, it's easy to slide and do whatever I want. But that's not really something I crave, a good time at work. OTOH the other offer would multiply my income sixfold and money's always fun. I still want a family and being able to take care of one with ease would be a good thing.

So, where's the difficulty? I would prefer it if I had the power to fix the public clinic instead and turn that one into what it could be. It's just... that's a pipe dream. Not going to happen. I could fix little parts of it, but only for a little while. So I guess by leaving I'd also accept failure, which is grating. OTOH that might be one of them good problems.

    Thanks. That helped actually.

The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. If that happened it's more likely it wasn't a coincidence, more like a stalker and attempted manslaughter. But if it was a different driver, that would be freaking hilarious.
