    Default Socionics tests

    I've noticed that when I take socionics tests, I often want to vote "yes" on both the questions about Fi AND the questions about Fe. If it's a choice between Fi and Fe, I could often vote for either one. Like Fi edges out Fe but it isn't because Fe is a negative. I wonder if people's demonstrative function could throw off tests.

    Have you noticed anything that often happens when you take tests?

    If I can, I do, but often I am unable to. I have to choose. But it isn't easy to choose, and of course I know what the test is looking for. If I were newer to Socionics, I could see myself choosing the Fe one some of the time.

    It's a no brainer to me. I always choose the option that seems most true of me. If I can't decide which of the options is more true of me then I roll a die or some equivalent thereof. You should do the same.

    i vote yes on most of the questions about "Ni" and i do it with no remorse whatsoever because if feels right 'n' compelling to do so if that's what you were asking laghlagh oh and your punctuation habits are something i find myself using from time to time annoying isn't it

    Oh, you mean those stupid Socionics tests? I can do that with Ti vs Fi, I think some other users like Diana were the same.

    I just try to take each question as literally as possible, and I tend to hope that my various idiosyncratic personality traits will end up rendering the test bunk, which they generally do. This means I'll vote for obviously non-delta IE sentences all the time (PROTIP: tests are bad).

    You forgot that there's no such thing for a Ti-PoLR type. There's no such thing as "true", but preferred or familiar. If he/she likes unicorns, then the most likely choice will be the one that involves unicorns, if he likes war (yeah Ashton) then the most likely answer is the one that involves war or military. This is more or less applicable to many Fi/Te valuers who self-typed, once they know what's "theirs" or "them", it's pretty unlikely not to identify and assume it, even if it does not describe them the best in the context.

    I like to chose what's true of me, in fact I'm highly careful in analyzing these questions, which is why I don't like to always do it: the strain of something perceived useless, wasted analysis. I won't just slack off with it. I questioned my type in search of what the real "truth" is, not just picking something out of convenience. Convenient measures come about in attempt to weigh one down with obligation of status, but there's always something different to see, and nonetheless inevitable in the very near future, which throws said "knowledge" out of balance.

    Yup, I often speak about how certain events unfolded or how I've locked into certain events and people mistake me for IEI;

    But, in action, practice, and relationship, I'm all EII.

    This is usually how conflict relations are so easily confused to believe the other is their dual.

    I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE
