Recently my IEE mom & EII sister told me that I have a classy flamboyance about the way I dress, and that I have the courage to wear things that most people would be too nervous to leave the house in (short skirts, tight cloths, ect.). This was bought up after watching a documentary on Lady Gaga.
This kind of confused me because until now I've never thought or even realize that there was any kind of "flamboyance" or sexual undertone to the way I dress, and I've never felt nervous or uncomfortable with it. I always assumed I came off as more neutral; I don't even like wearing bright colors. Then again, I do realized that I've always hated looking boring or plain. I don't even think I really own a lot of plain blouses... I'm a fan of patterns & i'm not ashamed of my body (well, at least not anymore).
This made me wonder if there was any socionics correlation with this. I'm not trying to stereotype here, but I have noticed that the Deltas I know tend to dress somewhat more conservatively, while my Beta friends lean a little more towards the bold & flashy side, especially Beta NF's. This is especially evident if you look at Beta NF's like Prince, Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury, Marilyn Manson, Little Wayne, & David Bowie.
So Betas, what do you think? How would others describe your attire?
