It's not that we hate strawberry ice cream, it's more that we can't stand ice cream with strawberry chunks in it. It's like you're just strollin along, take a scoop of your ice cream, it's all sweet and smooth and rich, but then your mouth is ambushed by a giant clump of seeds. No thanks.

Strawberry ice cream is good. The chunks give it some texture, which is very important. Ice cream isn't worth eating without some texture. My favorite flavor is cookie dough, followed by mint chocolate chip.
Galen is a likeable person who can get along with everyone. Good to have more people like him in the forum and real life.
I generally have a favorable opinion of Galen.
He is a positive contributor to my overall forum experience.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. Swollen lymph node, fever, sensitive skin/ears/eyes, difficulty swallowing, sore muscles, not thinking too clearly, general tiredness and fatigue. I'm sure it's some sort of lymph node infection, but I'm definitely going to the student health clinic tomorrow.What's wrong, Galen? I hope you get better soon.
drink lots of fluid, especially water. Perhaps also things with electrolytes in it.

probably would be good to get some apple cider vinegar, too. It's a curious list of symptoms. Has it happened before?

p.s. some of my favorite cold/flu remedies: ginger tea, raw garlic (with food), ramen noodle soup supplemented with spices such as cayenne pepper, black pepper, curry powder, etc etc, and of course the well known favorite--lots of vitamin C.

Well I feel much less miserable right now. Fever's down, my heartrate's about normal, must less sensitive, uhm, senses. However my nose is a bit plugged, my throat is still kinda sore (although that got a lot better last night), bit of a headache, and the beginning of a dry cough. Feeling much better though overall.
