    The Utility of Force

    http://www.the16types.info/vbulletin...ad.php?t=33182

How about the stay behind units ? "Operation Stay-Behind", that is.

EDIT: To make it more clear, are you aware of that plan, as in, have you heard of it before. It was never used as intended, some people got hold of NATO arms and turned against allies of the U.S.

Not really a fan of his views, he doesn't seem to understand modern conflict. Although he does make some good suggestions for winning them.

    Pirateland

Tugs at heart strings more than I prefer. I've never heard about the London based industry focused on delivering ransoms. I'm getting the feeling that a lot of dodgy shit that fucks up the world is mediated through lawyers in London.

I don't really have the time to watch these documentaries (I have been planing to see more Adam Curtis documentaries for a long time as it is), and this isn't strictly related to ransoms and pirates, but it is an article I bookmarked a long time ago because it was culturally interesting and so on (there are 4 pages): http://www.spiegel.de/international/...755340,00.html
