Well since you asked, both of my parents were raised by alcoholics, and all of my mom's siblings appear to have a trace of fetal alcohol syndrome. My mom's family is also pretty hillbilly. Clinical depression runs in my immediate family. I am in fact the only one of five who never tried to kill themselves, and both of my siblings have been hospitalized on multiple occasions for attempted suicides and psychotic breaks.
