Actually I find a sense of disinterest in other INTJs, and even Ts in general.

Fs are a different story, for the most part. I do find myself attracted to some ISTJs and ESTJs, and ENTJs.

I am most immediately/obviously attracted to beta NF females, especially IEIs. I mean, think a lot of guys are. But I personally put a lot of credence in the initial-attraction-to-identicals, theory. Or just all the hottest girls I know are IEIs.
Not a rule, just a trend.

IEI. Probably Fe subtype. Pretty sure I'm E4, sexual instinctual type, fairly confident that I'm a 3 wing now, so: IEI-Fe E4w3 sx/so. Considering 3w4 now, but pretty sure that 4 fits the best.

    Yes 'a ma'am that's pretty music...

Even before I knew about Socionics, I generally tend to be attracted to Delta STs and Alpha SFs especially Extraverted ones (be it people I have known irl or celebrities). There were some of them who are not really considered physically attractive based on conventional standards, yet they are able to catch my attention. It's probably due to the vibes they give out which make the others around them feel comfortable with them.

Most importantly, I like people who pay attention to me and bring me out of my shell, and I find that Delta STs and Alpha SFs whom I have known irl tend to be caring people who seem genuinely concerned about my well-being.

90% of the girls I have been attracted to over my lifetime have been ISFjs.

That's a hard one. There's only one girl I know that I think is ISFp and, yeah, I'm attracted to her, but the most visceral sexual attraction I've felt was probably with an ExFj and an ISTx.

My first ex and second ex are conflictors. I have been physically attracted to members of every quadra, and probably slept with members of at least 3 quadra.

But I don't think I've ever had a thing for or slept with an identical.

I've been physically attracted to people of a lot of different types, but the Delta STs on that list are the highest.

I think Beta NF women are just very good at making themselves look good.

    But it's always a trap.

Physical attraction is pretty dim for me. I'm often drawn to Alpha NTs though. I find their intellect mesmerising.

Nope. I'm not attracted to other LSIs. Even the good-looking ones do nothing for me. No physical draw there at all. I can't pinpoint what does draw me in, but it's not my identicals.

What is so impossible about it? I dated most types and there are numerous reasons to consider someone attractive, type is at the end of that list of reasons.

Most definitely. ESFj men, especially David Boreanaz are SO hot. Something about that assertive, yet loving nature in a man. . . oh yes.

Tbh, I'm mostly physically attracted to ESFj's, then ISFp's, then ENFjs and then ENFp men. . . however, they tend to lack what I need to stay in a long-term relationship. If I was a less moral woman I would prolly have one night stands with the dudes and then leave them for a long-term relationship with an LII. For LII's in the end win out, [even when they're really not that physically attractive.] For it's their minds that draw me. . . and sometimes that drawing takes a little while, but then you find yourself caught forever attracted. . .

However, FAT men, no matter what their type are almost always repulsive to me [physical attraction wise]. . . but I knew an ESE fat man that for some reason I wasn't disgusted by. . . he was self-confident, assertive and sweet. . . something about him seemed to make you not notice that he was over two-hundred pounds. . .

I'm actually not sure what type i'm most attracted to. I mean, now I realize I'm very attracted to delta STs, since i've been able to categorize all these sexy guys as delta STs. I would say i'm less attracted to my own type than to them, though I have come across an IEE guy or three who were very attractive (Evan Lysacek and Heath Ledger to name two celebrities). I would say I actually find LSEs to be more obviously handsome than SLIs, whom I very often dont notice (I confirm this observation of Aushra's is true).

I also have to mention that guys i've been attracted to in the past have not all been "hot", in other words not necessarily the stereotypical "good-looking" dude. A few have been, a few not. What I'm trying to say is, it takes something beyond "good-looks" to attract me.

I'm also incapable of separating "sexual attraction" from overall attraction and love. If I dont have feelings for the guy, I can't imagine enjoying just sexing him.

A lot of men are over 200 lbs and they're not what you'd consider obese. Most men I've been with have been 200-215..of course they were also above 6ft. Anyway, I guess I could be attracted to ISTP's, don't see why not...I just don't think I've ever met that many. ST men tend to be too typically manly for me, I just never found that too appealing when it came to dating them. Ethical men always did it for me.

I spend a lot of time with LIIs, I am on par with their sense of humour and generally enjoy their company. They excel at meshing with my personal needs in communication.
Oh, I am generally not sexually attracted to LIIs, though sometimes I enjoy their company so much I would potentially be sexually intimate with the individual.

I also like LIEs a fair bit as long as they aren't too proud.
    There is sexual attraction here.

Si-creatives all the way. They tend to be very attractive to me. Also SLIs, though I get the impression that they wouldn't be interested for some reason.

I *do* find ILI men beautiful like art. I totally fall for ESFP-Fis, though. I can find all gammas compelling.

Other types are objectively pretty and subjectively, potentially.

Oh yeah? Well I can't stand fat women! Take that, female race!

Oh but really now, I find Ts, especially the offensively sarcastic and witty ones, to be endearingly funny. There's something about cutting words with a smile that light my eyes up .

And there is definitely a difference between a male or female XXXx. A male ILE in this topic posting about female SLIs going to be different for a female ILE ... I wonder if we should open discussion about gender differences between types (to the extent that such generalizations can be discussed, of course).

I don't think first glance attraction was type related when I was younger but as I've grown to understand myself more and what I'm looking for I've noticed an attraction to certain types of people in a crowd. For the past decade or so most of that attraction has been directed towards people in Delta, ESE's and Gammas except for ESI's I think

Does anyone else notice this? Maybe we just like the way our own types dress, hold themselves, hairstyle, vibes they give off, etc?
I never noticed such a trend. Maybe we're just more apt at recognizing these signs from people of our type? I don't actually believe so though.

Does anyone else notice this? Maybe we just like the way our own types dress, hold themselves, hairstyle, vibes they give off, etc?
Good point. I think so. Then we discover our dual and realise how crap compared to it identicals are. You see that something was always missing, no matter how well you got on or whatever.

    Bump.
    - Can you guys tell if someone is attrated to you without them having to do anything? (not in love or any feelings, but just the animalistic stuff)
    - How do you tell? (Looks, smell, touch, energy ...)
    - What does sexual tension feel like to you?

    This is what I've noticed.

Their eyes will look a certain way, I cant really explain. Its a soft gaze like they're taking you in.

The tone of their voice will be warm and playful. You will speak in a familiar way, like you are something a little more than a friends.

It depends on the setting though, because if you're out at a bar or club they're going to be giving you shit usually just to test you and that's different. But if you're at work or someplace then its a little gentler.

The eyes are the easiest tell though.

Sexual tension for me is feeling like I want to move closer to them but I know I can't. Touch them when I know I shouldn't. Confess my feelings when its too soon.

I think the question is loaded for Si users so they'll probably give you an answer you really want.
The Barnum or Forer effect is the tendency for people to judge that general, universally valid statements about personality are actually specific descriptions of their own personalities. A "universally valid" statement is one that is true of everyone—or, more likely, nearly everyone. It is not known why people tend to make such misjudgments, but the effect has been experimentally reproduced.

The psychologist Paul Meehl named this fallacy "the P.T. Barnum effect" because Barnum built his circus and dime museum on the principle of having something for everyone. It is also called "the Forer effect" after its discoverer, the psychologist Bertram R. Forer, who modestly dubbed it "the fallacy of personal validation".

I have a really hard time telling when someone likes me. Even if they seek me out, I still have a hard time telling how MUCH they like me.

I think I have really low Fi discernment. My LSI ex-GF told me that I'm not romantic, so I bought a book titled "How to Be Romantic." I didn't understand a word in the thing.

I once slept with a woman for the first time with the following exchange. We were kissing, and

    Me: "OK, let's have sex."

    Her: "What?"

Me: "Let's move to the bedroom and have sex."

Her: "This is new to me. I've never had someone say that to me before."

Me: "Really? How do you usually have sex?"

Her, reaching into my pants: "It usually just happens."

I took that to mean that either the guys she'd been with didn't ask, or that my approach lacked finesse. Which it does.

But I ask first, because I can't tell what she might want.
