    Default IEEs and asymmetrical smiles

I have frequently seen that IEEs have some typical way of smiling asymmetrically, like Bertrand Russel is doing in this picture here:

Is this kind of smile indeed common for IEEs?

Well, still shots are probably not the best way to assess someone's smile. I mean, maybe the suject was caught in a half-smile; or maybe-- since the picture looks so old-- the photo was taken with one of those old-fashioned cameras where the subject had to be still for several seconds.

    Probably ntr, in my opinion.

I believe my smile is probably symmetrical as often as it is asymmetrical.

Pianosinger has an assymetrical smile in her picture.

I was actually thinking about this just now. IEEs DO have assymetrical smiles more often than other types. Great that you brought this up.

But are you sure B. Russel is IEE?? Or was it just an example of assym. smile.

Yeah, my natural smile is lopsided.

I actually think ISTps are the masters of the sideways smile. More of a smirk.

IEEs usually have big smiles, or a tiny closed-mouth smile. I rarely have an asymmetrical thing going on, as I leave that to the mysterious ISTPs!

I'm never sure, but I'm pretty much convinced he is. It would take too long to explain, but I think he was a very typical IEE in the sense of having many interests, ability to popularize scientific insights, being a humanitarian activist etc.etc. Now of course these are by no means exclusive to IEEs, but it's the overall impression I get when I put all these things together.

lopsided is a better word indeed, also sounds way more scientific. Let's call it the "lopsidedness of IEE smiles".

I don't think all IEES do it, but I think you're right, now that you mention it, SLIs do it too:

    Harrison Ford does it:

However, with SLIs the naughty self-content expression seems to be missing

I see. From his reading his books I get a very strong NT-impression, though.

Try using The Google to broaden your sample base. It has pictures and everything. As you can see, Bert smiles in a symmetrical fashion as often if not more so than not. And he's NT as fuck, perhaps LII.

Hmm, a couple of his expressions remind me of my own.
