Default Betas what is your MBTI type?

The person's hypothesis I was testing out failed, so the poll doesn't matter anymore. But, this thread isn't a loss because people have been posting very odd socionics-MBTI connections. The most common switch is the J/P switch. I was under the impression that I/E, N/S, and F/T switches were rare, but after these threads, it's clear that it's more common than I thought it was.

    TL;DR
If you have an I/E, N/S, or F/T switch, please explain how your socionics and MBTI type complement each other instead of contradict each other.

Yeah I don't know my subtype, I usually get no subtype on the tests.
So either I'm split or just don't know my subtype.
    either way =infp/infp
I would also comment subs are not classical socionics so.....
How does this poll even work, very biased.

Are there any tests that give subtype particularly well?

I'm INTJ or INTP in MBTI.

I always scored INTJ until I decided to become INTP and join the INTP forum

    ENTJ/ESTP (idk)

    Se-SLE

I'm not too sure if MBTI Se dominants can shut their brain off and just observe and having that as a basis for my typing to be ENTJ.

Oh wtf MBTI is too damned vague.

    ENTP EIE-Ni.

    Best fits:

    EIE- ENFP
    IEI- ENTP
    SLE- ESTJ
    LSI- ISTJ
What do these signs mean—, , etc.? Why cannot socionists use symbols Ne, Ni etc. as in MBTI? Just because they have somewhat different meaning. Socionics and MBTI, each in its own way, have slightly modified the original Jung's description of his 8 psychological types. For this reason, (Ne) is not exactly the same as Ne in MBTI.

Just one example: in MBTI, Se (extraverted sensing) is associated with life pleasures, excitement etc. By contrast, the socionic function (extraverted sensing) is first and foremost associated with control and expansion of personal space (which sometimes can manifest in excessive aagression, but often also manifests in a capability of managing lots of people and things).

For this reason, we consider comparison between MBTI types and socionic types by functions to be rather useless than useful.

I do not understand why you set up the poll options that way. Really a terrible poll. And then you've gone and made 2 of them. Meh

I'm testing out someone's hypothesis, geniuses. That's why the poll is the way it is.

    Here's an idea:

Are you a creative or dominant subtype? Do you score the same on the MBTI J/P as your socionics type?

    -creative.. same
    -creative.. different
    etc.

It probably doesn't matter. It's not my idea.

I haven't gotten away from "testing" INFP in MBTI for years. Whatever that's worth. I had thought functions would transfer easily into Socionics, considering EII at first, but I'd make an odd one. I think my type is IEI-Fe atm.

    Socioncs: Ni-EIE
    MBTI: ENFP>INFP>ENTP>INTP
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

As far as I can tell your best type fit is ENTP, but ENFP is possible. A Ji-dominant wouldn't have that much trouble picking out a single type for themselves, so any kind of INxP is out.
