    Default 8th Function Manifestation

I believe the demonstrative (8th) function manifests as a kind of dynamic, ambient aura that goes unnoticed by the subject but is perceived by third parties as the "essence" of the subject. For instance, LSEs probably think of themselves as hardworking and practical, but other people often regard them as overbearingly forceful and boundary-crossing.

So what I wanted to do here is inarticulately describe the auras I think each identical pair gives off using random words that will confound you and cause you to kill a small boy's gerbil, and before he knows it's dead, dip it in chocolate fondue, wait for it to harden, and then get him to bite into it.

    Anyways...

EIE/LIE: Panorama, latitudinous, lateral thinking, seeing around corners, hidden camera

LII/EII: Mystery, elusiveness, otherworldly, spiritual, doubt

LSE/ESE: Violence, bulldozer, pressure, prodding/nagging, getterdun, insistence

LSI/ESI: Tranquility, sensuality, comfort/discomfort, irritation, cantankerous

ILE/SLE: Grimness, results, excuses, rationalization, success

    ILI/SLI: Justification, skeptical, correction, stubborn

SEE/IEE: Fun, inclusion, confrontation, cordial, laughter, condescension

IEI/SEI: Hidden currents, quiet judgment, sigh, "Fine, I'll tell you," deserve, attachment, Will Smith (lmao I had trouble describing this aura for some reason)

    Nice .

I tried to put together something like this, but the concept of "aura" makes it much more practical, as everything is really energetic. It covers some other areas of intertype attraction not covered by Ego/Super-Id.

Also, I think it's important to note, the types have a really twisted version of the Demonstrative as opposed to a type that has the same Base.

I don't know how useful it would be in intertype theory, but I guess there could be applications for it.

Well I don't think they're twisted; it's just the way they manifest when in the eighth function. An unhealthy SLIs Si might very well appear twisted compared to a healthy one's.

Very cool, accords with my experience.

Will give it further thought and see if I have anything more substantive to say.

Read this written response by Donald Trump, an SLE, to some lady who insulted him.

Now remember the words I used for Te: Grimness, results, excuses, rationalization, success

Does that jive? I don't want to be too specific unless you're still having trouble.

Te demonstrative shows people how things are done. Fixing things yourself. When working it takes the initiative and leads by example.
