TBH the person he reminds me the most of is my dad, who I think is SLI.

My first impressions, without reading anyone else's posts:

The thing that immediately jumps out at me is Intuition. His gaze is soft and not really focused on his immediate surroundings, and his body language seems somewhat awkward, not as comfortable in his own skin as Sensing types usually are. The Intuitive vibe is so strong I'm tempted to say he's xNxp.

His smiles don't show teeth in any of the photos, and look a little forced in all but the third photo, suggesting he's not really comfortable expressing genuine emotion (weak Ethics). However, he does make the attempt to smile and show emotion, suggesting to me that he may be Fe-valuing.

    Base Intuition + Weak Ethics + Fe-valuing = ILE.

He also looks like an ILE friend of mine, especially in the third photo.

SLI is a guess. He looks unbelievably like someone I know or know of but I can't place who.
Not a rule, just a trend.

IEI. Probably Fe subtype. Pretty sure I'm E4, sexual instinctual type, fairly confident that I'm a 3 wing now, so: IEI-Fe E4w3 sx/so. Considering 3w4 now, but pretty sure that 4 fits the best.

    Yes 'a ma'am that's pretty music...

I am grateful for the mystery of the soul, because without it, there could be no contemplation, except of the mysteries of divinity, which are far more dangerous to get wrong.

Interesting. I only have a slight impression of him. He said something once about how he likes things to be orderly. He talked about how his son drives him crazy because the son is so laid back. (prolly Ip type) Could be a generational thing. Likes his toys: motorized (RV, convertible, used to ride motorcycles) as well as electronic (tvs, phones, ipads, etc). Claims his top two values are freedom and loyalty.

No likey, he seems uncool, and he poses with cheap sheet cake.

    LSE is my guess.

Liking things to be orderly is not the same as being Te-Base, who are more likely to just make things orderly without so much talk. He's probably some Te-seeking, though-- either Te-Creative or Te-DS.

He talked about how his son drives him crazy because the son is so laid back.

Could be that he wished his son would pick up the slack so that he wouldn't have to. I don't necessarily see this as evidence against his being Ip type himself.

    Doesn't everybody value these things?

Not in the sense that they will name them as their top two values, no. And if I, let's say, met a potential romantic partner and he said he valued freedom and loyalty above all, that wouldn't resonate with me very strongly. Nothing wrong with those things, but they don't spring to my mind in particular and I'm not sure I'd know what he was implying for day-to-day life by naming those things. (Is this his way of saying he is free to do whatever he wants while I remain loyal? Will he be loyal in intention but not in action? That sort of thing ... which is to say I don't really get it.)

My most important life values, for example, would more likely be the search for beauty, and the expression of human intelligence.

In terms of relationships, extreme honesty and clear communication.

    What are yours?

that's weird and contradictory. How can you be loyal and free at the same time? Being loyal naturally means you aren't as free, ie being loyal to somebody in a relationship means you aren't free to just fuck around with whoever. Being loyal to a company means you don't have the freedom to search around forever for another job.

haha this gives me a good idea for an article though.
