Default I've got my eye on...

    an ESFP.

It's a strange feeling actually... like I feel the natural attraction but the more I think about it the more I find myself questioning it. It creates a tension.

    Interesting.
    -
    Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
    Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

Nah, you're reading too much into my post. I only suggested IEI for TCaud since he claims to be IEI-Dual-type according to his theory. I don't really have a strong opinion about his type, just suggesting that he look at the possibility.

According to various sources conflictors do marry each other meaning they must have found each other attractive enough and for long period of time to go through with it. I've heard some of those marriages don't even have a whole lot of conflict in them. Socionics just isn't everything there is to relationships.

It didn't work out. She moved away and it's just no conversation on FB. We have no common interests. She's totally a people person, always involving herself in personal life going-ons.

Too much of a people person. Way too much.

OK looking at an IEE now. She seems to be hurting for stability in her life due to a seriously dysfunctional family (I wouldn't know anything about those! >_>), and this seems to put in her a reciprocal impulse. The SEE was looking for freedom; the IEE, is looking for something else.

But she's totally hot and breathlessly beautiful and sweet as snow cream. She seems to value our relationship (at friendship level now) very much, enough that she's not permitting any red flags (I've been running some "tolerance tests", if you catch my drift). I think she values my relationship the most of those among her peers that she has.

Tcaud, Mess around with as many ESE's you please, but for god sakes keep your hands off the SEE's. You know they're no good for you and I want them all for myself.

No one can keep a SEE to themselves. Even being with them won't stop them from flirting with the 20 other guy / girl friends they have. They're pure unbridled sexual energy

This is true. I've experienced this first hand. I've also been the recipient of taken SEE's flirtations (they'll do this right in front of their significant others).

However, at the end of the day, most SEE's are not disloyal to their partners. It's not as though they go around rampantly cheating. They'll just get 20 or so other people infatuated with them and proceed to leave them all cold (and often they'll later feel bad about this).

There are two relevant take away points here:

First, if an SEE hits on you, keep up your emotional guard. There's a good chance it's not going anywhere.

Second, if your SEE is hitting on other people, chill out. You'll feel great when your SEE stays with you in spite of the fact that there are lots of other people wishing they could be with him/her.

I call bullshit Tcaud. Stop contributing misinformation about my duals. This is why you need to stay away from SEE's you unappreciative bastard you. That you weren't good enough for your ESFp friend doesn't give you a right to knock ESFp's as a group.

Tcaud it's okay that you have a serious and even clingy personality but I think sometimes you just need to lighten up. Don't worry, love will find you, but you can't really take it too hard in your heart. =)

I don't really condone Ashton picking on you so much but JESUS CHRIST you're a dork, tcaud. lol. It's okay I love you for it. <3 That means you're one of the good guys.

Not that it's hugely constructive, but that kind of thing instantly makes other people back off. Rick had a good point where you don't really want to make huge leaps and bounds beyond whatever the other person does.

OK now courting an LIE friend. She's kinda stand-offish, very selective about who comes around her kids. She's gradually relaxing her guard... it's a process that happens over days and weeks, not hours and days. One thing about it is this subconscious tension I'm feeling... I can't shake it. Like I'm straining myself by being nice to her. I asked her what I could do to help her out, and now she's asking for money. Very cute though, with a lot of ambition: she wants to become a forensic scientist.
