    Default Languages, neanderthals and type

    http://ebbolles.typepad.com/babels_d...rthals--1.html

This further proves my theory that languages depend on type. For instance Fi types tend to dislike certain languages, there is plenty of evidence for that. I also noticed it is being talked about in the chat box and I agree with what was said about Fi types.

Since neanderthals were J types and they had language which was different from sapiens line then they obviously had inclinations towards certain languages. And XXXj type people to this should have easier understanding of certain languages than others. Which languages do you see as XXXj types? Do you think it sort of shapes society in it also making it more likely for XXXj types to exist in certain countries? Do you believe that with the extinction of certain languages certain types will be more rare?

Some people theorize that Basque is a distant descendant of a Neanderthal language. You might want to look into that if you're curious.

    I don't buy it, personally.

I may or may nor be an XXXj.

I know English, French and Persian.

    I like English.
    French is okay.
    Persian is crap.

If I ever learn another language, it would be either German (cuz I like it) or Spanish (cuz like 20% of the world speaks it?)

Plus, 90% of the world's languages will be extinct in 50 years. No one wants to learn Japanese or Urdu - Fuck that. It's not practical.

Oops, I didn't even read the OP, so I probably did not address whatever question you had.

But sure, I think Ne types would want to learn languages because of their insatiable curiosity.

You are SEE , your language preferences show clear Se. You need something that expands your influence and your use of F words indicate it too!

I think if I were to ever learn a different language it would be Greek or Russian (or both).

I think it's wise to learn at least one dead language.

It's a way to get a foot in the past, to extend yourself across inaccessible time periods.

For cultural reasons, but you never know when it might come in handy.

The neanderthals... the people which you have descended from, the xxxj's, while the xxxp's descended from another line.... science is a conspiracy, they have it wrong.... the xxxj's are a different species!

I am also interested in Latin, mostly for etymology purposes. I think that's dead enough.

    It isn't a bad idea.

I've actually learned some Latin. That's probably the most useful dead language ever... it can help you understand modern Romance languages to some extent, and see how they're all linked to each other. And you could read a few ancient texts, even a few medieval ones from back when Latin was the language of scholarship.

I speak Spanish, English and some German.

After a few beers, some Italian too!

Spanish language: lots of emotionally-charged words (). 15 different tenses ( IMO). No declension. Difference between you-casual (tú) and you-formal (usted) --> aristocrat. SPANISH LANGUAGE: EIE

German: the structure of the phrase is subject+object+verb. The purpose of this is to "limit" the scope of the unknown (ne polr): the verb is the last word of a phrase. The Germans are sensors and need to know everything beforehand. Besides, the declensions and the rigidity implies strong rationality. There is a different word for you (casual-du) and you formal (Sie) -->aristocrats. The language is flexible enough to add emotional suffixes to some words-->Fe valuer. There are only two tenses: present and past. This may mean disregard for the future. GERMAN LANGUAGE: LSI

English: simple grammar, practical and without emotional words, understatement, no difference between formal and casual 2nd person --> democrat. ENGLISH LANGUAGE: gamma NT
    ILE "Searcher"
    Socionics: ENTp
    DCNH: Dominant --> perhaps Normalizing
    Enneagram: 7w6 "Enthusiast"
MBTI: ENTJ "Field Marshall" or ENTP "Inventor"
    Astrological sign: Aquarius

To learn, read. To know, write. To master, teach.

A lot of XXXj types posted in this thread. I think this theory of yours is foolproof.

I know Finnish, English and Swedish.

I don't really have any opinion on Finnish. It's my native language, essential in my everyday life and the fact that foreign people have told me it sounds like a weird mix of chinese and italian makes me not want to speak it in the company of anyone who doesn't understand it.

English is hard, but I still love it. The pronunciation is definitely the hardest part, as I'm constantly aware of the fact that I sound like a retard compared to a native speaker. I get better when I drink tho.

Swedish is okay I guess. I used to hate it for political reasons mostly, and still think the Finland Swedish sounds silly. Norwegian is cooler.

    Default Ice World

A bit off subject, I've watched this twice...it's fascinating. It follows 3 humans, the main actress who plays "Mara" just happens to have reminded me of Maritsa. Odd lol.
