    Default Dog breeds and type

I don't know much about dog breeds but if socionics is genetic...Then really we are doing what accounts to people breeding selection for specialization. Like dog breeds are bred for certain characteristics.
The 8 information elements are just the broad vectors needed at minimum to describe the traits, 16 general categories that can overlap mathematically without interfering with one another.
Ex: LSIs are all the watchdogs and cop dogs: bulldogs, rottweilers, german shepherds etc

    opposites....

IEE:golden retriever? "Golden Retrievers are often used as therapy dogs due to their calm demeanor, gentle disposition, and friendliness to strangers"

Perhaps you can extrapolate some similarities and what it means. Also you can see cross specialization for jobs like so:
(Theres a million specializations in each of these but purely...)
Ti-LSI:judge, beauracrat, lawyer, mid-high ranking officer: ?specialized watchdogs
Se-LSI: Cop, soldier, sentry, guard :detection and sniffer dogs?

And getting racier for the fun of it:massage therapists, waiters, strippers, prostitutes: probably alpha SF: service dogs, show breeds

Feel free to add knowledge you have on the issue and
fill in the rest if you know them...I might later

not type related; I love many different dogs, unrelated to their breed.

    i.e. anything by Tcaud.

I know the OP is probably tongue in cheek, but I have actually thought about this previously in the past though in a different form than just dog breeds. Surely the 16types if they are a means of information metabolism should be more generalisable, being applicable to most animals with relatively similar brain structures. It would probably be easier to type animals than people in some respects as the blurring of type characteristics that occurs with education would be absent.

Dog breeds would probably be a decent comparison as specific traits have been bred into the various breeds, with personality coming through as well.

I have always wanted a husky. Maybe there's something to this .

NO if any dog is IEI it will be the bichon frise. They are so adorable. I don't want to be a big dog like a golden retriever! Lol

Btw I agree with tcaud, this probably doesn't belong here but.. /shrug.

But I love bichons. Kind of obsessed with them. The background on my computer is a bichon. So is the icon for when I log on. And I have a bichon calendar.
They're so sweet and cute and fluffy and gentle, omg, I am getting excited just thinking about it!
I need to calm down. I probably sound weird .... /end post

Timeless, I love that breed for me.

Maybe I should get one of those.

Actually, if there are integral types for things like nations and other groups, I don't see why there shouldn't be for animals. We humans tend to anthropomorphize animals and attribute personality characteristics to them. Whether these personality traits are real or imagined is beside the point -- they exist as cultural archetypes, and so in a real sense, they should be typeable.

I think that is the point, considering behavioural patterns are so variant between various species and breeds then there must be underlying difference in their informational processing (whether or not socionics is the applicable model is what I'm unsure of). Typing based on any other criteria, especially cultural archetypes, is senseless.

A bulldog? No, this dog is definitely sensing, just take a look at it!

    Also, Dobermann = ENTj imho.
