Is getting pissed at this type related? Seems Fe if anything, could be Fi if the person is weak Fi and wants to make sure its there.

I never wave back. Why are strangers waving at me? Especially the 40 year old aging hipster mothers.
too funny. I wouldn't wave unless I knew the person! Even so I'm usually making sure the person is who I think they are and by the time I figure it out, it's too late and I'm already past. haha
And, why would you get pissed? I'd just figure the person didn't realize who I was or they were distracted or something. Why waste your energy getting mad at something dumb like that. sheesh.

I finger wave. Where I barely lift my hand up and flop my fingers around in the air.

Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?
I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

I wave at everyone in my neighborhood. I don't care if they wave back.
It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so.-Mark Twain
You can't wake a person who is pretending to be asleep.
i just figure they probably didn't see me.
i don't remember this happening, but if it was somehow obvious to me that somebody saw me and deliberately didn't wave back, i would probably wonder if they were mad at me (depending on the person), but i can't imagine being angry. concern or anxiety would probably be more likely.
lol wtf does that happen to you a lot?
I like to lip-squeeze smile and nod.
A stranger at work said "HI! HOW ARE YOU?" to me as I was halfway into a bathroom stall (like closing the door). I didn't say anything, and she had a tantrum about how rude I was while she was washing her hands.
That's something I am annoyed by as well. Related to that are people who ask that question but aren't actually interested in a comprehensive answer. Why even ask?
I don't believe I've ever actually done that. I have this thing about listening to people, and if I ask them a question I'm going to be waiting for an answer. I'm also probably going to ask a follow up question.
Heh, back on topic, I don't think I'm going to be pissed. Probably I'll just a bit upset/uncomfortable that I took the effort to go out and greet someone like that. Yet, they don't acknowledge me.
This is definitely related.
