I'm doing a study on personality attractiveness. I am looking for volunteers.

Here is how the study will work:
- Each participant will submit up to five photos. Participants will rate each other based on attractiveness of personality based on how the person "comes off" in the photos. Each participant explains their feelings and/or reasoning, describing the little apparent details that lead them to see their subject as attractive or comparatively unattractive relative to other participants.
- Only heterosexuals may participate.

This study is not for the faint of heart. Only participate if you are secure in your own desirableness.

I actually recently participated in a study that my university was doing along much the same lines. Only they paid me $25.

I critique honestly. If I want to be gentle, I just stich something like "I am of the opinion that" on the beginning of the sentence so they can ignore me if they want.

If you want to learn something then I urge you to participate. If you don't, then we will learn nothing, I suppose.

There is a method to the study, something that obviously the people at Vero's college, being unfamiliar with socionics by virtue of arrogance, would know nothing about. (but of course Vero only sees the world through a superficial lens so, I can't expect that he would tell the difference).

Would you all be more willing to participate if the responses were closed? As in, would you like to carry on a private dialogues with me by PM? The dialogues will be confidential. I will offer the conclusions to the public, not the responses which lead to the conclusion.

Vero was randomly sampled. He got the $25 dollars because he was lucky. I intend to conduct a random sample in the future (when I complete my degree) and have funding (but I can't promise anyone here will be a target). However, that will be the proof of the descriptive study, which is what I am attempting to undertake now. In the writeup for the descriptive study that is the basis for the quantitative study, I will accredit participants.

Yeahh, I think this would be a lot better. You'd get a better variety of personalities (not just confident people that also aren't too shy to criticize others). I don't really care to learn anything about how what strangers think of how I look or anything, but the conclusions of this sound interesting. I'd probably participate if you can get enough other people and everything.

So are the dialogues explaining their initial rating of the other participants or are they leading up to a decision about how they would rate them? If that made any sense.

I mean that's sorta the whole point you know. We all operate in the same universe, support groups or 'straight' only places or 'gay only places' seem contrived to me...This place has a very equal almost politically correct representation of heterosexuals and homosexuals, but that's the way the world is. Nobody is really excluded naturally, so why start?

I'm not saying you hurt my feelings or anything you didn't. And I wasn't really offended lol. I'm just saying - there really is no need to make the distinction in the first place. Attraction is attraction. Like Dolphin says, the whole point of 'gay rights' are that the lines are always blurred. I mean you may be straight and I may be gay but I can still be part of the same attraction study. Why would I need my own separate study just because I'm of a different sexual orientation?

And anybody who hasn't had a crush on somebody that's not normal to their native sexual orientation is lying/kidding themselves, anyway. Maybe like 3% of people are purely one way or the other, but for the rest of us there's some fluid room. So that's why we need to fight together. Not create 'groups apart.'

i wrote a 100 chapter novel uniting straights and gays, please don't try to divide us again. yes, I am different in ways if I am a gay man and you're straight man but in the end it doesn't matter, we're all human and much more alike than we are different (I like final fantasy too!), and should have the same rules and all the same laws, and be included naturally in all events without special distinctions. Hooray!
