Default Gamma Quadra interests, hobbies, and activities

    Hi everyone

I'm interested--what are some things that Gammas, in general, seem to like?

Gammas, are there things that you notice a lot of Gammas seem to gravitate toward??--anything, really.

Books? TV shows? Activities in general?

Any info would be helpful. Thank you.

Family Guy is pretty damn Alpha, as is the Daily Show, lulz.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

Yes. Gamma humor = Alpha failure.

    ...

This thread wasn't created to apply theory to reality but to apply reality to theory . Gammas can watch Family Guy, regardless of what element/Quadra FG belongs to.

Stewie is the biggest gimmick character on television, I don't get how nobody else sees that.

There are neither gammas nor gamma traits present in this thread and it henceforth elicits and deserves no less than my disapproval.

Ugh, once in a while I catch my husband watching Family Guy (while was, of course, just surfing through the channels on his way to some other program); he agrees with me that it is not very appropriate, but yet he still seems drawn to it somehow. Of course, I make him turn to a different channel immediately.

He has tried to describe a few things from that show that he found funny, but I just give him dirty looks.

that's not necessarily true when you reach the extreme right-tail of the distribution. ex. bill gates isn't really the most powerful man in the world, even if he's the richest.

But he could be the most powerful person if he wanted. You can use your money for almost everything: buy people, let people disappear, get some more businesses to earn some more money... You can see it in our governments, our 'democracy' is ultimately ruled by the interests of lobbyists. They have the real power in the country. The politicians are often used as puppets and do what they're told. And if one among them really wants to be honest they'll get rid of him in no time. Money and power are terms which are inseparably linked, at least in our societies.

maybe, but you can see that...he probably doesn't want to. that's why i'm saying that gammas are not terribly concerned about power, more about money -> power is something that derives from money, a kind of unintended consequence.

okay but there are lobbyists which are more powerful than bill gates even though they're not as rich. they're probably more focussed on power (rather than money), thus they managed to construct a network of relationship which renders them powerful/important.
money is a requirement if you want to be powerful, but actually becoming extremely powerful requires focussed effort.

Not even that, in my opinion. Money is valued because it has power to get things. It's the "things" that are important. I'd like to think that if "things" were readily available there'd be no need for money / active power.

of course, money is a medium of exchange, so it only has value insofar as it can be exchanged for goods or services. that's its definition.
