    Default Aleksei's subtype descriptions

First installment of what hopefully will become a series on all 16 types, aiding people in finding their IE subtype.

SLE-Te: The big boss-man type. This subtype of SLE craves being in control, takes command of any given situation and is generally speaking found either in leadership positions, or aspiring to take them.

Most likely JCF (Jungian Cognitive Function) type: ENTJ
    Most likely Enneatype: 8w7 sp/sx
Most likely Oldham style(s): Aggressive, Self-Confident
Type Exemplar: Gordon Gekko (Wall Street)
    Possible forum example: Ezra

SLE-Fe: Emotionally labile, volatile, and highly aggressive. This type of people tends towards strong emotional highs and lows, lashing out and violence. They’re generally fearless and strong, as well as charismatic, passionate and excellent at riling up people to their side. Nu-metal music is characterized by themes correspondent to this subtype.

    Most likely JCF type: ESFP
    Most likely Enneatype: 4w3 sp/sx
Most likely Oldham style(s): Dramatic, Mercurial, Exuberant
    Type Exemplar: Till Lindemann (Rammstein)

SLE-Se: The most “pure” SLE subtype, and perhaps the one most associated with the thrill-seeking attitude JCF ESTPs are famous for. Se-SLEs lack a proper filter between thought and action, and simply do whatever they feel like doing with little fear of consequences. This type is possessed with a restless, thrill-seeking nature, and they will not back down from a challenge.

    Most likely JCF type: ESTP
    Most likely Enneatype: 7w8 sx/sp
Most likely Oldham style(s): Adventurous, Self-Confident, Mercurial
Type Exemplar: Cal Lightman (Lie to Me)

SLE-Ne: The creative, innovative subtype of SLE. Ne-subtype SLEs are above all Decisive types and concerned with ideas they feel have use and will net them results, as well as considering ideas sequentially, but within those constraints SLEs let loose their imagination and enjoy figuring out theories and innovative solutions that might serve their purposes – then aggressively pushing forth on those ideas to see if they bear fruit.

    Most likely JCF type: ENTP
    Most likely Enneatype: 1w2 sp/so
Most likely Oldham style(s): Inventive, Self-Confident, Exuberant
    Type Exemplar: Napoleon Bonaparte

SLE-Ti: Drill Sergeant Nasty. This type of SLE has his own structure of rules on how to conduct himself, and will insist on following them and, if you’re unlucky enough, will insist that YOU FOLLOW THEM AS WELL, DO YOU UNDERSTAND, MAGGOT!? OTHERWISE HE’LL PT YOU UNTIL YOUR ASSHOLE IS SUCKING BUTTERMILK.

    Most likely JCF type: ESTJ
Most likely Enneatype: 6w5 (Prussian) so/sp
Most likely Oldham style(s): Conscientious, Aggressive, Vigilant
Type Exemplar: Gunnery Sergeant Hartman (Full Metal Jacket)

SLE-Fi: Neurotic individuals, who fret over everything and unhesitatingly act on their neuroses. They don’t have a specific structure to their neurosis, and often don’t follow other people’s rules or have any of their own.

    Most likely JCF type: ESFP
    Most likely Enneatype: 1w2 so/sp
Most likely Oldham style(s): Conscientious, Vigilant, Serious
    Type Exemplar: Riddick

SLE-Si: This type of SLE is usually very in touch with their ignoring function. They principally seek comfort, often aggressively demanding others to pamper them. Their fundamentally restless nature draws with it an occasional tendency to seek activity and adventure however.

    Most likely JCF type: ESTP
    Most likely Enneatype: 7w6 sp/sx
Most likely Oldham style(s): Leisurely, Sensitive
Type Exemplar: Monkey D. Luffy (One Piece)

SLE-Ni: Withdrawn and reserved in comparison to what one might expect from such a highly assertive attitude as -dominance. This type of SLE will generally speaking have tendencies towards grumpiness, complacency, and possibly agreeableness, but they’re like a lying feline – try to attack them and they will lash out with unexpected ferocity.

    Most likely JCF type: ISTP
    Most likely Enneatype: 8w9 sp/so
Most likely Oldham style(s): Solitary, Idiosyncratic
    Type Exemplar: Anton LaVey
    Possible forum example: Me

What do these signs mean—, , etc.? Why cannot socionists use symbols Ne, Ni etc. as in MBTI? Just because they have somewhat different meaning. Socionics and MBTI, each in its own way, have slightly modified the original Jung's description of his 8 psychological types. For this reason, (Ne) is not exactly the same as Ne in MBTI.

Just one example: in MBTI, Se (extraverted sensing) is associated with life pleasures, excitement etc. By contrast, the socionic function (extraverted sensing) is first and foremost associated with control and expansion of personal space (which sometimes can manifest in excessive aagression, but often also manifests in a capability of managing lots of people and things).

For this reason, we consider comparison between MBTI types and socionic types by functions to be rather useless than useful.

I made them myself, based on the IE subtype descriptions and my experience with what tendencies the type-subtype combo creates.

I added exemplars to the OP.

Lovely descriptions, although I doubt those tendencies are related to jungian functions. Still, nice to read.

I'm not sure if the IE-subtype system is useful or not, but I'd still like to read the LII one. I can't really judge the accuracy of your descriptions, I don't know many SLEs.
