    Default Chessmasters

    I think we should type the Chess World Champions, but I know very little about them, would you help me?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Chess_Championship

    Kasparov looks Ni-ENTj to me

    Capablanca: SEE?

    Topalov: SLE?

    Anand and Kramnik: alpha NT?

    ILE "Searcher"
    Socionics: ENTp
    DCNH: Dominant --> perhaps Normalizing
    Enneagram: 7w6 "Enthusiast"
    MBTI: ENTJ "Field Marshall" or ENTP "Inventor"
    Astrological sign: Aquarius

    To learn, read. To know, write. To master, teach.

    Actually, in all seriousness, some else said here on another thread, that a couple of the top chessmasters are actually SEE. More of a Se control thing, conquering style.

    I question how much logic is necessarily needed for chess. Analyzing mid-game is of course important, after early exchanges, and as positions become increasingly complex, but most of the games are still based upon opening theory, long-term strategy, ie. queenside/kingside attack/defense, Dragon Sicilian, French Defense, etc. Logic is important, and I believe that's why the vast majority of grandmasters are a Thinking type, but it's not out of the question for there to be several Feelers who can grasp the strategy of the game through study and preparation.
