First glance, I'd probably say some kind of ISTj.

Allways a delight to notice, that people here are in concessus ! Really strenghtens my faith in the system. Myself im concious that i havent quite grasped the system in a way that i could confidently type the people, which is why i refrain from doing so.

But as people here dont, i will assume that they have solid reasoning behind theyr claims. The only esseantial uniting theme here is betaness, but otherwise what thoughts brought you to your conclusion. I suppose that only by exposing your reasoning and thoughtprocess behind it and we are on the process towards the truth. By comparing and conflicting these views we also have the potential for learning and growth. So please reveal yourself ! Why is Malcom, what you claim him to be ?

Here are 3 main problems: 1) absence of experimental basis for resume about types, - wich traits and with wich strenght relate to concrete types; 2) lack of trustworthy information about far-from-here people; 3) many use intuition for typing, for example my leading method is analysing of intuitive impressions from nonverbal behavior, so thoughtprocess is unconscious in significant degree and thus difficult to be exposed [intuitive methods can be checked by results, and skills can be reproduced by examples studing]. That is why any arguments about type of concrete man are subjective, speculative and questionable; and hence have too little sense to do it here seriously.

By comparing and conflicting these views we also have the potential for learning and growth.
By making proofing experiments we have the chance to learn objectively, as in any other part of knowledge. This needs resources: people, money, time. No resources -> no study -> no practical result in general.

Yeah, based on the movie roles I'd say Beta is pretty likely (if not then Gamma). I'll look into it in a bit, that guy's awesome.
