Default Intertype Relations Charts (lookie what I made!)

Feel free to reproduce for personal use. And, I've been pretty careful and re-checked my work a few times; but if anyone cares to take the time, it would be helpful to have a second "editor" to make sure I've got all the connections right. Thanks.

    Enjoy

Admins: If people actually find these useful, maybe this post could be Stickied?

I just find these a lot easier to read and memorize than the tables found online.

I don't sleep nearly enough. I try. Sort of. Having a toddler waking up in the middle of the night and insisting on joining me in bed for the rest of the night doesn't help matters...

I used Paint. I wish I had my old Mac up and running, 'cause then I could've used my Drawing program and easily made some of the lines curve so they weren't threatening to run right through the little circles like they are right now.

Thought that looked like you manually did the lines in paint. Still very well done! And once again... ooooooh look at all the colors....

thanks yeah, it's not very professional-looking, but whatever. I actually drew up charts by hand first before I thought to use the computer. Maybe I should put up those, too...see what people like better...

Does anyone else think these are easier to read than the tables? Well, they're more fun, anyway

I just ask because you seem to be fiddling around with images a lot, what with your constantly changing avatars, making pictures like in the OP, etc.

Who on earth activated your Te, maam?
(Because, you have taken off and the rocket is out of this world.)

Yeah, Te activation is like Te mania (making charts, anything that helps you visually explain what it is you're communicating because visual charts are external and objective; you see them, therefore they exist and therefore they are Te and objective).

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

Sure. It's really not nearly a true mania. I actually spent a good chunk of yesterday outside with my boys (enjoying the glorious sun!). So. Moderation? I'm good.

But thanks for the good advice anyway

Looks cool, but I think a simple table would have been similarly easy to read. (like this one)

Yeah, but see it's not as easy, for me at least. The charts above just..."flow" better for me, it's easier for me to visualize the connections and remember them when I no longer have the chart to look at.

Also, the charts can do another cool thing, as they easily show me the secondary conections as well. For instance, hey look! my Conflictor is my Look-a-Like's Supervisor!

Sure, if it helps you it's perfectly fine. But for me personally, they are extremely complicated even thought their actual information content is the same as the simple one at Wikisocion. As many users, I haven't memorised all the intertype relations and if I wanted to look them up, why should I prefer to look at four individual diagrams with three different indicators (lines, stars, arrows) if everything necessary is found in that table? I admit that you have to learn the abbreviations before but that would be the same with your colour code. But you're the one who made it so you see the things different than I do.

Those secondary (and tertiary, etc.) connections are how I remember it, btw - by association, without having consciously memorized any of it. I wonder if it might be related to thinking styles? With holographic thinkers preferring to put it all in a complete diagram-like structure, and dialectical-algorithmic preferring to focus on how the connections are entangled?
