I know an SEI who was studying to go into social psychology, but she decided she didn't want to do grad school and started working at a prison instead.

Another SEI I know is a web developer.

    Another doesn't study anything.

    waitress
    bulldozer driver
    carpenter
    cooking
    gardening
art (now working as an art teacher in elementary school)
ceramics (but impossible to find a job)
    music
philosophy (I doubt he will ever have a career in it though)
languages and translation (doesn't like the job but likes the money)
    child care

One H-SEI guy I know has studied many things but never finished anything. I think he has mostly been unemployed but he has also worked with child care. He is very critical of any kind of formal education, he prefers things to be "natural". He was in gardening school with me for some time. He was very critical of gardening also, that plants have to be taken care of in certain ways. Because that's just something that people have invented. He doesn't like to visit the city because everything is "fake" and ugly there.

I even think one teacher in linguistics at the university was SEI. She seemed totally depressed and confused, she was draining herself in that job, she had somehow got stuck in it. I heard some rumor that she spent most of her spear time painting, and that she would rather do that all the time.

Law, new forms/methods of teaching that shape new society expectations from kids, arts, design.

    Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
    Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

    sociology, Asian/American studies, medicine, psychology...

Although to be honest it seems like most SEIs hate school.

I think most people hate school. I have always find most school systems rather rigid and overly systematic, and full of unnecessary rules and regulations.

I started out at an art major. Massive amounts of cliche for an ISFp, no?
Then switched to a nursing major. I wanted to be a school nurse.
Then I considered marketing. (I'm somewhat of an entrepreneur)
Then I considered becoming a librarian.
I've finally decided on psychology. I want to teach it.

    My ISFp friends:

    ISFp #1: Nursing major
    ISFp #2: Bio engineer major
    ISFp #3: Occupational Therapy major
    ISFp #4: Child psychologist
    ISFp #5: Psychology major
    ISFp #6: Nursing major
    ISFp #7: Librarian
    ISFp #8: Photography major
    ISFp #9: Pharmacy tech

Me and ISFp #7 as well as ISFp #1 are 4w5s.

And yeah, lol, I know a lot of ISFps. I actually probably left a few out...couldn't think of them all.

    Alphas, pardon the intrusion/off-topic:

Woah, theMime! Hi! It's been awhile.
Oh, to find you in dreams - mixing prior, analog, and never-beens... facts slip and turn and change with little lucidity. except the strong, permeating reality of emotion.
