Default Which neighboring Quadra do you like best?

Which of your neighboring Quadras do you tend to get along with best, have the most in common with, gravitate to?

I'm definitely all over the Gamma Quadra I had to consider for a long while between Delta and Gamma, but finally concluded that I really was more Si/Ne valuing than Se/Ni.

It was much easier for me to conclude that I couldn't be Alpha, as I so definitely devalued Ti and Fe over Te and Fi.

Delta. No matter if I'm Alpha or Gamma it would probably be Delta I get along best. But Beta people are not bad as well, don't misunderstand me. If I typed them correct, half of my family is Beta and I get along with them well.

You are Delta judging from your sociotype window. That means it's not a neighboring Quadra.

of course delta is tops but you have to pick b/w alpha and gamma cos those are our neighbors, hah.

    generally speaking:

i feel more immediately comfortable and able to open up around alphas, even if i feel like they don't really understand me sometimes.

i feel a little nervous around gammas because they can seem too quick/firm in their judgments, but i feel like they "get" me in a way that alphas don't once the initial hump of discomfort is out of the way.

if i had to choose, it would be alpha though.

Oh yea, I didn't read the "neighbouring" word. Damn it.

I would say Beta, then. I love people in there so much I'm going to buy all of them presents next Christmas.

Some alphas are somewhat annoying, Gammas I know, hmm, I like axielsyd for the warm welcome a long time ago. Tough stuff. Ahh hell, I'm going with Gamma.

Alpha. If I'm Alpha (Unlikely, but not impossible), then Beta by a pretty long mile.
What do these signs mean—, , etc.? Why cannot socionists use symbols Ne, Ni etc. as in MBTI? Just because they have somewhat different meaning. Socionics and MBTI, each in its own way, have slightly modified the original Jung's description of his 8 psychological types. For this reason, (Ne) is not exactly the same as Ne in MBTI.

Just one example: in MBTI, Se (extraverted sensing) is associated with life pleasures, excitement etc. By contrast, the socionic function (extraverted sensing) is first and foremost associated with control and expansion of personal space (which sometimes can manifest in excessive aagression, but often also manifests in a capability of managing lots of people and things).

For this reason, we consider comparison between MBTI types and socionic types by functions to be rather useless than useful.

I'm gonna have to say gamma, but i sort of resonate with what laghlagh said. I find alphas generally to be nice people, but the misunderstandings start cropping up and there just often seems to be a disconnect. I end up feeling an Fi-Fe or Te-Ti disconnect, both of which are VERY important to me.

Could it be that the Fi or Te subtypes relate more with gamma? and Ne or Si subtypes more with alpha?

Gamma without a doubt. I get along well with Alphas too, mind, but Gammas tend to speak more on... how would you say it... "my level," so to speak. I can understand where they're coming from in a way a bit more foreign with Alphas.

I like the cuddliness of IEEs. Their values clash with mine pretty jarringly though.

Sorry if I wax philosophical, but there's people who say awful things about everyone..maybe some of the individuals are just unhappy or jealous themselves or something. Don't get me wrong..I've known some IEEs who've annoyed me a little, but to me they're good souls, don't know if that's just bias talking.

There's a lot about em to be liked, heh

Edit: example on IEEs, I'm pretty sure Squark (LSI) said he can see IEEs are good people etc, or something, despite them being conflictors.

You may be onto something here...I definitely prefer Alpha irrationals to Alpha rationals, I think...although that would make sense, since the Alpha rationals are my Supervisor and Benefactor.

I can't say I know any ENTj's for certain, but the other three Gamma types...I like them a lot, the ones I know. Especially the INTp's...of course...

And I really seem to like the Beta rationals, too...at least, casually. Not saying I'd enjoy living with them...

Both Alphas and Gammas have their drawbacks with me, but over the internet I'd have to go with Gammas. There's a much more intellectual syncing-up that happens between be and Gammas, at least on the internet. In person, I may say Alphas just because it's easier to pal around with them. There's a sort of tension I feel when I'm around Gammas in person, and I can't pinpoint what it is exactly. I'm sure it's Ni/Se vs Ne/Si related though.

Dunno. It's either Alpha or Zelda.

Probably gammas. Alphas are easier to strike up a relationship with, simply because they're sort of sunny and we interact on the same level. But usually, friendships with gammas are ultimately more satisfying long term.
Not a rule, just a trend.

IEI. Probably Fe subtype. Pretty sure I'm E4, sexual instinctual type, fairly confident that I'm a 3 wing now, so: IEI-Fe E4w3 sx/so. Considering 3w4 now, but pretty sure that 4 fits the best.

    Yes 'a ma'am that's pretty music...

I am grateful for the mystery of the soul, because without it, there could be no contemplation, except of the mysteries of divinity, which are far more dangerous to get wrong.

Alpha... with Gammas i end up feeling "inadequate", as krae put it once. this is probably due to the demands and pressure put on my PoLR. with Alphas that doesn't happen.

oh and i often find alpha NT men hot.. haha
