    Default Working to be lazy

Least effort for most return. Type related? Working just enough to do nothing.
I know its said istp could be described as that but what do you think?
An ip thing in general? Irrationalilty?

Typically Te, but in the back of everyone's minds I think half the world would like to be lazy if it was without negative repercussions.

But yeah doing the minimum sounds Ixxp.

    IP > EP.
What do these signs mean—, , etc.? Why cannot socionists use symbols Ne, Ni etc. as in MBTI? Just because they have somewhat different meaning. Socionics and MBTI, each in its own way, have slightly modified the original Jung's description of his 8 psychological types. For this reason, (Ne) is not exactly the same as Ne in MBTI.

Just one example: in MBTI, Se (extraverted sensing) is associated with life pleasures, excitement etc. By contrast, the socionic function (extraverted sensing) is first and foremost associated with control and expansion of personal space (which sometimes can manifest in excessive aagression, but often also manifests in a capability of managing lots of people and things).

For this reason, we consider comparison between MBTI types and socionic types by functions to be rather useless than useful.

This is why my mom, INTp, would rather tell me what to do then to do with regards to Te and this may be why I get along with my parents...ISTp and INTp, equally.

Nihilist is an umbrella term for "person of nothingness". There are different types: metaphysical, rational, empirical, philosophical, existential, ethical, social etc.

I think in general it does fit with IP, unless they truly enjoy what work they do, in which case you might see them putting in some serious effort. Still, once they get out of work they're back to not doing a whole hell of a lot, unless they get into the mood to go do something or other.

Really? What does "doing the minimum" mean to an Exxp? Or what tendency do they ghave in the area?

Work puts restriction on activities. Unless it was stimulating, I'd say "work to get back to unrestricted life".

So IPs work so they can go back to doing nothing, and EPs work so they can go back to doing what the want to do?

    ...

Seems only semantically different to me.

IPs aren't lazy you silly people. They just naturally take the course of least resistance to limit energy expenditure.

The reason they would ever do anything like the OP suggests is probably because they value their freedom to pursue any goal or hobby the feel like at a time. Their irrationality does not mesh with an overly structured work and routine-like schedule and are probably more accustomed to spending long periods of time alone doing what they will (no one does 'nothing' you crazy bastards).
