    Default My EII male stereotype

I bet you guys don't know what is that, do you? I'm putting this here, not in the VI section, because two of the persons are fictional characters; By Rich Fulcher from "snuff box" I mean the character, not the actor with the same name who plays it (I have no idea, no that he's certainly not).
Now in what consists this stereotype? No, not necessarily hippie, but that soft, cary, romantic, curious, whiny (at least that whiny voice), and all the rest.

David Van Driessen - a teacher of Beavis and Butthead.

Richard Stallman, open-source software activist and president of the FSF.

Rich Fulcher from Snuff Box comedy series (the guy in brown):

F**k yeah! Never heard of this guy before, but I saw some interviews. And, when asked about his donations towards LA firefighters, he said that they're ovelooked and that they never take a break and that "our jobs are easy... mine". The guy is genuinely empathetic and likes to help certain categories of ppl who they feel they are "abandoned" - the types of action that make the least impact in the mainstream, too, like I know that EIIs are.

    ---

I also had an EII apartment mate like this, he was kinda weird a bit, for example he was putting his clothes in my room because there was a closet they could hang as he liked. He was really this whiny stereotype - and the hosts were joking that I should watch my ass because he's gay . But he was probably not, there was no evidence about it. He was studying journalism and was wearing fedoras - this is really rare here among young guys.
Anyay, people in the house kinda exploited him, he could not refuse when he was asked to go buys something, cook, etc - and then he was complaining to me or who was not like this, lol! (edit: he was complaining how those people annoy him with those tasks and irony, but the next day he took it all over as nothing happened, I could not really understand him because If I was annoyed, I would refuse in the end; ok, once or twice, but then go fuck yourself because I'm doing this out of politeness but you get too used to it and I have better things to do than serve you). If I find his last name - so pictures - I'll post them.

I had a philosophy professor just like that. Probably was EII too.

Can I be told who moved this thread in Delta quadra from Model A and why? Do I have to argue about my thought out reasons for posting in there everytime someone abusing power patronizes my reasoning?

I moved it. Simply because it seemed more appropriate elsewhere, and because doing so probably means new threads are less likely to quickly drop out of sight. I have moved it back though.

Haha, that's interesting. He also reminds me of him, I just thought that some days ago.

Ah, ok. And thanks for moving it back; I see it as some hints I use to identify a type, not a Delta discussion or perspective.

I could see Stallman as some kind of Fi type. A lot of pacifist types like the Beavis and Butthead guy seem SEI-Si. In the case of your apartment mate, I'm only coming from MBTI, but those people who bend their backs over, taking on a lot of work and errands tend to be ISFJs. Not sure what that transfers to here.

I'd be surprised if there is.

I'd also be surprised if I'm much like D-Spade or the Beav-Prof.

But either way, I'll (try to) get you a vid tonight or tomorrow or pre-'11.

    (Self-type confusion kinda blows. )

I haven't seen much of Spade (or of you, respectively), so this was more a 'vibe' thing. Don't take it too seriously, though. Some people compare me with Harry Potter which is just way off.

Well yeah, except that they're stoical and they're not whining like that, and I was typing him as EII for other reasons as well.

    Young. White guy. Glasses.

If that's not Harry Potter, I don't know what is.

Maybe you should try one sans specs, though, a la:

As promised, one awkward vid of an EII-male (MAYBE).

And, given the "maybe", I posted it elsewhere lest I screw your thread.

Hmm yeah, this pretty much sums me up. I can see a trend of "old, white guy, glasses" for the future, though.

In the defence of the guy who called me Harry, we met on the street for the christmas celebration of our school class and I wore a black coat, I guess that completed the look.

This is a possibility. However, sans clothes still makes the better impression sometimes. But seriously, I need the glasses for my intellectual look.

LOL @ that video . I don't know, I'd say SEI from it, can't think of something else except probanly IEI, unless you're in a blue state.

Blue? That was me "cranked to 11". (Will further ruminate on SEI, though, as I'd trust you know 'em.)

More on point with your OP, posters here try to correlate just about everything with functions and quadras and what-not, so... might particular vocal tones and pitches (a la the "whiny drawl" you caught of the EII's above) be attributed to different types (even if really, really loosely)?

Heck, VI's got a whole sub-forum around here. Could AI ("Aural Identification") be the next step?

I think this is the same old problem A ⊂ B does not necessarily mean A = B - like when a certain MBTI type matches a Socionics one. Imagine a "complaining" voice like that, that I found in this stereotype, insisting on "I'm the best" or "I'll beat everybody". So it's about the whole, pitch, dynamic, content and other things, all in a big picture. I recalled that I argued with people about this INFJ girl on Youtube who I type as EII in Socionics (instead of IEI, like some), based on similar things, but as in our case, it was not only about the voice dynamics, but I recall that it played an important role in my argumentation:

So basically I think that these details can be used to make an image of how these people view their environment and other peoples, their attitude on life and things. IMO, these signs like voice and VI are to be interpreted, as you interpret what kind of a person someone is in general - eg. you can often tell the capacity of someone based on external signs - outside the field of typing, just not as quantifiers.
