    What do you think?

Anything not covered by poll welcome, too (like subtypes, dual-types, enneagram, your favorite pet theory...).

I somehow aren't confident enough about your type to actually also vote for ILI. There is this shadow of uncertainty which prevents me from absolute statements.

INT something. I'm leaning towards LII.
What do these signs mean—, , etc.? Why cannot socionists use symbols Ne, Ni etc. as in MBTI? Just because they have somewhat different meaning. Socionics and MBTI, each in its own way, have slightly modified the original Jung's description of his 8 psychological types. For this reason, (Ne) is not exactly the same as Ne in MBTI.

Just one example: in MBTI, Se (extraverted sensing) is associated with life pleasures, excitement etc. By contrast, the socionic function (extraverted sensing) is first and foremost associated with control and expansion of personal space (which sometimes can manifest in excessive aagression, but often also manifests in a capability of managing lots of people and things).

For this reason, we consider comparison between MBTI types and socionic types by functions to be rather useless than useful.

You're clearly a T type, very smart/intelligent, for sure you can do a lot of ethical judgments and can be very critic, but I don't remember a single post where your feelings were disclosed...but maybe you're very good at hiding them too, but in this case the question is "why would you do that?"

You seem to master Te and Ti equally well, but I tend to see Te winning more often.

Also you describe Ni more or less the way I would do it myself, so you are likely leading Ni.

That plus the fact your cold logic side has the same effect on me that my ILI friend and ILI ex-gf, ie. something I respect but can't really argue against apart from giving alternative points of view, contrary to my LII friends with whom intellectual debates take a completely different form...

So by elimination I think you are ILI.

Ok I should rephrase it, Aiss is smart regardless of her being T. And you are smart too Aleksei... in your way! muhahah

    I agree with this typing.

In the chatbox, you seem to espouse Gamma values. If you're not ILI, I'd have to go with another Gamma type.

You kind of overthink the theory, to me. That's something I'm not used to with ILIs, usually their imagination skills are reasonably higher than their analytical skills, to the extent that most analysis is irrelevant. But, seeing as though you research into enough, then you probably have a better idea of your type.

The comment about not applying the theory (if that was the word) threw me off a bit as well, as you come across disregarding the practical aspect of the theory that types have always adhered to. I find you more similar to an LII in that regard too, overanalysis of the theory > practical application of it. But hopefully I'm just mistaken.

A type might just read descriptions and know which one sounds like them, and then apply what they've learned from direct association, but you've gotten into all these wacky categorizations and dichotomies that don't really fit the simple truth, they're rather complexly systematic subjective manifestations, quite in nature. I don't know what you intend to do with such.

I agree, Te is definitely the valued function in Aiss' case (over Ti). Just the fact that she recognized and appreciated my Te-seeking (as described in the "Are they in your Quadra?" thread) says it all.
