I'm thinking of Te-ISTp. In addition, she reminds me of the forum member jessica129 to a certain extent.

Yeah I think Te-ISTp too, that was my first reaction.

I watched some of the show and remember her first appearance and from that I'm doubtful she has Se ignoring or Fe PoLR, she came across as rather pushy, insistent, competitive and bubbly, not at all laid-back or unemotional. I'd say Fe dominant, but I'm not entirely sure

Fe-POLR does not mean unemotional btw. It means not always appropriate emotion/emotional intensity for the situation. And SLIs can manifest Se when necessary. Te can also manifest as pushiness.

But I agree this girl isn't Fe-POLR I dont think.

p.s. eunice, jessica is LSI now.

yes, good point. I probably should have used "emotive" instead, emotional is a bit too diverse and doesn't necessarily apply to external manifestations of emotions

It means not always appropriate emotion/emotional intensity for the situation.
eh, I don't think Fe PoLR's really attempt emotional displays, IMO they're fairly externally stoic. One of my good friends is an SLI, she does laugh and smile to a point but she's still got that poker face thing going on

This is pretty much to the point
The individual tries hard to never let himself "come apart at the seams" emotionally or even let out strong feelings publicly, because displays of passion do not come naturally and make him feel self-consciousness and vulnerable to painful criticism. This makes the individual generally seem emotionally neutral and politely indifferent to excitement and agitation around him. The individual deeply dislikes attempts by others to get him to "cheer up" or "join the fun", especially in the context of group activities with loud emotional expression.
]And SLIs can manifest Se when necessary.
True, but it's still their ignoring function, as with SEI's, so they're not naturally prone to be overbearing; I've really only seen them act combative when someone is prodding them extensively, and let's just say Fe dominants are very good at doing just that

Te can also manifest as pushiness.
On it's own, I don't really agree, it's more like arrogance than evasiveness. But yeah, I guess Te's can be pushy too, but I'd say it's due to their Se demonstrative or HA
fwiw I don't think Whitney Miller uses Se, from what I've seen, to the extent that Gordon Ramsay dose even if she has it as a strength

I'm sort of with you there. I dont particularly see SLI in her. But then again, I'm not too familiar with the female SLI "look". But regardless she's just too graceful with the Fe to be SLI.

I'm aware of it. I still feel that she seems Te-ISTp to me.

Anyway, my typing of Miller is not mainly because she reminded me of Jessica.

Having seen her TV appearance and talking about herself during the interviews, she seems rather Delta to me. It could be due to the culture and family upbringing she underwent though.

No. There is no way I am delta. No way. I mistyped myself as SLI for the longest time because I had zero understanding of socionics. SLI is impossible. Sorry.

The eyes are the only thing about this girl that remind me of myself.

Aristrocratic Southern gentry (in the US) might be as stereotypically Delta as it gets.

Confounded or not, though, SLI or SEI seem like pretty good fits.

FWIW, Ramsay was all over her. (Type-related or Female-related?)

She has a lot of positive qualities imo: She's young, has great potential, smart, humble, assertive (without been aggressive), possesses great cooking technical skills and can be creative at the same time, pretty (probably the most attractive amongst the female contestants imo) etc.

Anyway, I think the contestants for MasterChef are generally good people imo, even though I'm not sure it's because the show has been edited to put them in the positive light. Ramsey seems to be more benevolent, helpful and in a better mood in this show, as compared to Hell's Kitchen where the contestants seem more complicated and hard to get along with.

I don't need convincing, Jessica--I agree with you!!
    Talk to Eunice!!!

And believe me i know how it feels (and how possible it is!), since i mistyped myself as IEI for a while.

Why? I really don't know much about you, but I know that when someone changes their self-typings to their conflicting quadra then something really weird is up.

Also I agree that Whitney Miller looks a ton like you.

I based my SLI typing off of MBTI, that's the main reason. I don't think SLI could be more off when it comes to my type. Beta feels much more me...much more comfortable. I'm not Delta. Also, ThePirate met me IRL and knows what's up. He's typed me LSI. No offense to you or anyone else, but I'd like to think someone who's met me knows more than someone who only knows my online persona.

This brings me back my initial "why" question.

None taken. The problem is that I'm still not convinced that anybody's "online persona" is any different from who they really are. If what is written is generated by the actual person, then the persona can only be the same person. "If it's not in your head, it's not in your writing" etc.
