Tiny valentive cinnamon heart candy inside a marshmellow melted in the microwave. Eating it's a mess, but it's tasty.

My friend also said that chocolate and peanut butter are pretty good that way, too.

I'm fully aware I have odd tastebuds. Being broke forces you to get creative.

Me and some friends used to go to taco cabana and buy bulk side items (rice, beans, etc) and tortillas for under 2 bucks or so and then mix these with the items at the salsa bar, and grab water cups and fill them up with soft drinks.

What developed was termed "ghetto cabana", for its last minute improvisational nature. It was supposedly a way of life, a world view, a philosophy of sorts. The goal was to spend as little money and create as much food from various cheap items on the menu.

The most simple example is rice + tortillas + pico de gallo, sometimes queso was mixed in, sometimes beans, everytime its different, but in essence the philsophy remained the same.

Beefamato and vodka, on the grounds that a meat and potatoes drink must be as good as a meat and potatoes meal.
