she looks logical, and rational. i see ethics in the role function in her smile. she has a distant look.

Strong Si/Se too. Maybe ISTj? I think she's introverted. She and I get along pretty well. She's a bit.... hm, picky about her friends. Artsy. I wondered about ISFp for a bit but I think she's too distant for that. ISXx I guess.

My first thought is LSI; but, despite the "distant look," SEI might work too. In photos (less so in conversation), my SEI mom does a similar thing where she's looking up or down or to the side or just about anywhere BUT the camera. It's like a dozen things are vying for eye-gaze, and the camera always loses out.

Are these expressions natural for the OP-woman, or more reactionary poses for a picture?

(P.S - Is that Richard Gere?)

She reminds me a lot of one of my friend's mother. She's pretty easy going but dependable, warm but with this sort of odd admixture of constancy and fragility. I'm not sure what type she is but some kind of ISFp or INFj.

This woman looks a little different though, like she's more extroverted or something. More alert, maybe?

Yeah I can see that. Maybe it's not so much extroversion like I thought, but she has a harder look to her.

she has a business remaking old furniture pieces and reselling them. She's pretty good at it too! she dresses very consciously and stylishly, lots of pretty jewelry and always notices what other people wear. her house is immaculate and meticulously decorated.

Come to think of it, she's not super warm with people. It feels like it takes awhile to be her friend. She's not welcoming to everyone, only people she already knows and likes or think might be worthy of her time. lol

My first thought was LIE. Which probably means she's got circa 8.25% chance of being one, considering VI's accuracy.

Looks like an INFj to me. There are EII that have gone WRONG, who are resentful, mean, unkind, hurtful, manipulative, etc. unfortunately. I am the way I am because of my family, because of an incredible mother and a very accepting and tolerant father. I have built a construct (from my J thinking) that it's not good and right to not welcome all people and keep yourself open to the options, possibilities, and welcome and be warm with people (even though I catch myself having limited as well).

I have struggled to become a circle of other INFj's in the past and I know how HARD that is and unfortunately that is what it is. I have made a commitment to myself to not be so closed minded, limiting, and unfriendly to people, as I have observed in other INFj's like this young lady.

    Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

One of my tutors is an ISFp, and she's always wearing this sort of tracksuit thing. Then again, she's a huge eco-buff, so, maybe that comes with the territory (Australia is like the world capital of denim ). I think SEIs of either gender will tend to either quirky or relaxed styles, but always go for comfort.

By comparison, my INFp flatmate always dresses up if she's being seen by anyone (not that this is a bad thing, she's a very sharp dresser (lolcommercestudents)). Her room is also meticulously decorated.
