    Default Caffeine

Caffeine turns me into my semi-dual (half throwaway thought, don't take it overly seriously).

I find that the stimulant effects of caffeine help me connect ideas and process information faster. I can usually keep one step ahead of people in conversation and figure out where their thoughts are going before they get there themselves.

Without any form of stimulant my mind is comparatively sluggish.

My incredibly half-baked thought (because my mind is crashing now) is: does Socionics measure anything that can be manipulated by manipulating neurochemistry, and if so, is it possible to thus induce a type-change via medication?

To me, personality change and type change seem kind of interchangeable.

I suppose they could be different if you see personality change as being like a temporary change in your behavior, while type change is a change in your overall tendency to act or think in certain ways.

I know for myself, caffeine causes a temporary surge in energy, both mental and physical. I feel more productive, more energetic, but also more jittery. But I'm still acting in the realm of the LII type.

I'm hypersensitive to the effects of caffeine. The increased energy is positive and its why I consume it now and then but its given me undesired effects like the crash that results after the caffeine starts to leave my system. It also makes me jittery and makes my heartbeat kinda irregular. So I'm trying to wean myself off of it.

That sounds like especially seeing where people are going before they get there, Ne is like the old cartoon depiction of a light bulb going off, its that immediate connection you make, the two dots you've connected. or the whole, I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE!

Ni is similar except its like going to town with the dot connecting, its more web like and entangled but a slower longer process

Caffeine makes me look like an extraverted type of me I look like an endless energy bug.

    Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
    Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE
