    Hey.
i just saw someone has the username: blueberry jam. damnit. i thought blackburry was creative.

so, i've been a lurking this site for a couple of weeks. I sense that new users aren't extremely appreciated or welcomed here, and I get that, there's comradery with time, I won't intrude or be posting much.

I basically just want to find out if I'm LSI or ESI.
I'm mistrustful, but friendly (to most people)..I'm moody, I can be immature.
    I'm a chick.

Dunno what else to say. Hope i haven't already offended someone out there.
    any thoughts?

Hello. I think ESI is more likely than LSI, but I'm not familiar with SEIs and I'm even less familiar with LSIs. Welcome to the16types. How old might you be? Should I call you Black, Burry, BB, or Lily?

Boooo, being self-effacing is no way to break in.

Well if you've lurked, you probably know that the first thing we're going to do is ask for pictures, because that's what we do here.

How much have you read here? What are your thoughts on your quadra values? What impressions do you have of the different quadras?
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

oh...well, come on, I wasn't sure how to go about it.

I've used the search tab more times than not to look up threads about LSIs and ESIs.

I don't know whether I'm Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta...I tend to get along with most people if they have good intentions, aren't fake, and have a sense of humor.

I don't do drugs really...dunno if that's relative or not.

I think you are over-thinking things about the forum's collective attitude to new people.

Hope you have fun and find your type and then forget about it or else will risk having your life ruined by typological concerns and subsequently die, thus ruining your life for good.
    that happens?

Lol I think new people are just as welcome as old... not that that makes you welcome, just equal.

    Welcome! fwiw

In seriousness though, a lot of people here are just either really obnoxious, argumentative or both, so it's a bit hostile, but it's not done out of hate... usually.

If you show that you're here to learn and not preach, you'll be fine.

    lol thanks?
i'm definitly not here to preach, nor argue... just learn.
I was introduced to socionics awhile back but thought it was a crock of shit until two of my best friends found each of their duals, and now both couples agree it's the most loving, easiest relationships they've ever been in, and...well, here I am.

now. am i LSI or ESI?...i'm not intuitive. I notice that the guys I end up having the most longterm chemistry with are Intuitives..though they live on an entirely different playing field than I, it seems. I'm about the here and now. working hard, playing hard. I have great friendships with other sensors but..I get annoyed when they can't offer me well thought out advice concerning the future (my weakness..)

What you posted in the thread about SLEs is pretty unlikely for an ESI to experience, I think; that is a manifestation of weak Ne+Fi and seeking Fe.

In addition, your posting style seems more Fe valuing to me, just in general. Also what you posted about being unsure if you would be welcomed seems like it could be a classic example of a Beta (Aristocratic quadra, naturally exclusive in some ways) projecting their own natural attitudes in their anxieties at joining a new social group.

Also Beta is probably the moodiest quadra
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

    LSI
    -
    Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
    Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE
