    Default Where are you?

Where are ENTJs? What do they do for a living by the time they're in their mid 40's? Where would be a good place to meet them?

ENTj are big dreamers, but they're pragmatic as well. Some may be found pursuing their dreams whatever that is, and others whose life circumstance haven't allowed it may have settled on less ideal situations where they can just apply their natural focus on tasks to make a decent living. Regardless, ENTjs are most definitely task and goal oriented. Anywhere there's a challenge or something of big picture importance to be accomplished, it's not unlikely that you'll find an ENTj.

I think ENTjs are most likely to be found in places of opportunity. I'd imagine most are drawn to big cities and places where they can make a lasting difference.

Lol, I've seen that in some descriptions..

Seems like such a random and specific field. Why chemical engineering?

Se valuing needs something concrete and real, so to say and engineering are exacting sciences, tangible and so is money even though many parts of it is intangible, yet the results -something that Te types thrive on is measurable in some way or another. Ni part of it kind of gets them to connect with real time. Se/Ni objective properties in real time.

I barely understood that, but I'm pretty sure it says nothing about chemical engineering except maybe that Se valuers might thrive in engineering in general which isn't even true.

Those I know are usually either professors / researchers or some type of self-employed professional / entrepreneur (doesn't mean they're wealthy, though).

If you mean "location", I think most ENTjs like places where there is a sufficiently vibrant cultural and social life. Over here, that's not necessarily equal to big cities - although I think it might be different in the US, since there's a higher tendency towards clustering.

That's not what I said, that only Se valuers can thrive in engineering; my answer was a matter of observation.
