If someone could gather a lot of standardised (like in european passports nowadays) pictures for VI purposes, there could be made a huge database of VI examples. Given that most of them has to be actually typed correctly, these photos can be used by a software to match your picture which you contributed to find your own VI typing. And if it's somehow correct, the software could add your picture to the others to be even more precise at the end. It's not that other people should see your photo, it's just saved for the internal matching process.
The software itself is no problem, there are already websites which use this kind of technology. I just don't know if VI is reliable enough for such a typing service. What's your opinion?
