I've always wondered about Samurai Champloo, as it was probably one of my favorites.

I think One Piece was beta and I don't even know what to say about Naruto. Dragonball was really weird, so idk about the types.

I agree with .HACK fo sho. Damn, I played that vidya game too... virtual world so fun

Evangelion is pumped up with Ni/Se for sure =D.
I´ve watched over 100 completed anime series and even more mangas. I list some of what I think is gamma here:

    Berserk
    20th century boys
    Vagabond
    Blade of the immortal
    Hellsing
Blame!(has very little Fe content, noone smiles )
Angel Densetsu(ZOMFG, the funniest manga I ever read =DD maybe too random for gamma..hmm)
    D.Gray-man
    Tsukihime
    Black lagoon(very gamma)
    Akumetsu(also gammagamma)
    Gantz
    Rurouni Kenshin: Tsuiokuhen
    Detroit Metal City(very funny)
    Darker than Black
    Seirei no Moribito
    Gungrave(very very gamma, quality anime)

I would think Speed Grapher is another Gamma anime.

As far as anime goes, I would think shounen as a genre is integrally Decisive.

    EDIT

Also, anything rometly Alpha NT tends to disorient and confuse me. And yet I like most of the series listed here.

Afterthought: rometly? Your yslexida is rubbing off on me, aixelsyd.

Haha, well, if you found Darker Than Black too gruesome, Speed Grapher will definitely be way too much.

I really liked it as well. I need to watch it again in order, though. I watched it while it was on tv and watched it all out of order. It made it quite confusing, but I still liked it. The games on the ps2 were pretty good but I never got the 4th one. I beat the first three.

I recommend watching on Home - Stagevu: Your View

Btw, anyone read Adachi Mitsuru's mangas? Like Touch, H2, Cross Game, Rough?
It's the most relaxing reading experience I ever had. The author is truly a master at doing slice of life.(could it be delta?)

You should read the manga, it's much better imo.

I'm personally a fan of Shakugan no Shana, mostly for its focus on existence and being completely forgotten.

    .hack

I'm a fan of the LotT series myself. Never really got into the other ones, I guess because I was attached to the characters.

    You might like Spiral, then.

The newer .hack games are awful. The first one was pretty fun, although I didn't play it much tbh.

It's going to be awesome when they make the AIs and characters for .Hack-ish games much more life like, so it will just suck you in, and you'll never appreciate real life as much as the game. One day I tell you, one day. *evil laugh*

What a shame. I was thinking of checking them out sometime.

I will be excited when they coming out with something like The World. I wonder what it would feel like to play something like that. I feel like I could easily get consumed by it.

Definitely, especially if there is VR.
