    well, I think you don't have this "you have been categorized" look (=Ti) on you

    You are not very active in that business.

    I don't know how much you do it outside of this forum.

    The meaning of LIFE:
    To continuously use and develop your own predisposed functionality that makes you content.
    However:
    Societal "ecological niche" generates incompatibilities when we think about individual and his/her meaning. What this means is that life itself can not become fulfilled and in the best cases to approach meaning infinitesimally close tends to happens very seldom. As such we can not reach for fulfillment but we need to become mesmerized by the majority with the majority. Source comes from the illusion generated by the happy outliers. If the individual belongs to one of these groups he/she can be considered as mentally healthy most of the time.

    Head type as in being truly head type and probably 7>5. Too divergent, scattered and expressive for typical 5 and that is the preferred way although long term focus usually helps.

    I came here because I cannot decide between ISFP or ISTP.

    I thought I could come here to this thread and identify what type I am by looking at the images corresponding to each type (Loosely [yes I know MBTI and Socionics is not a 1:1 ratio]) Only to find that I pretty much match both equally. :/

    The only reason I am leaning LSI is because the brow for ESI is a little bit more perky :/
    I struggle with motivation, apathy and sticking to goals.

    @QuickTwist you are more IxTx than IxFx, and more > is present. For some reason my first thought was ILI.
    I need some things that I want in my life now. I own so much but I have even more to lose. Big house, supercar, money, honor. Yeah... a superstar
    Art fills the walls in my room, my house is a gallery. Feel free to visit comfortably anytime. I’m just living like I used to
    Like my childhood wish, like the people on TV. I’m living it up but I’m still sad and lonely. A corner of my heart is empty. I need somebody, I ain't got nobody
    Petrus, Latour, Margaux, Conti, Jayer. I obsess over 1988 vintage, but (I need some) friends who are the same age as me. Instead I pour my own glass and drink by myself
    I'm tired. Today, tomorrow, every day is filled with work. But if there wasn't anything tomorrow it'd be strange. Hello? Is there anyone there?
    "You’re so admirable."
    Softly, softly come on over here. Don’t cry, why are you crying? Why are we both crying? Ask the stars, ask them.

    @QuickTwist: going by the magic of Straight Out Of My Ass™, you're not a Rational type unless you're some highly abstracted LII. Your bone structure might match, but I don't think your expression does (which is both highly subjective and subject to the context of the photo ofc.) Try Ip types.

    INTJ is the third type I am considering, but its not much of a chance based on some other input I have gotten from someone who also types people visually. Their method is more based on non-verbal communication and what is said. The seem to think pretty strongly that I am an Ji type with Se and a decent amount of intuition.

    IDK what you mean when you say I am not a rational type. Does that mean the Judging functions (Ji, Je)? I admit I used to know more about this stuff, but I have largely forgotten most of it. I don't see myself as much of a judger, at least in my thought process. What I mean is that I tend to reevaluate things constantly in my mind.

    @Both, it seems you both think of me as fairly different types when considering CFs. That seems like a pretty common conundrum in the socionics world. Is there ever a consensus at all?

    QuickTwist, I would guess Beta, possibly SLE, from your picture. Doesn't mean it's true. VI is not super-reliable.

    I'd say you seem a but more reserved than the IEE portraits. They have this bouncy openness to their faces, while you seem a bit more reserved and closed off (somthing that could be associated with Fe ignoring?). Though you also have this gentle demeanor to you that I associate with Delta NF. I could see EII working for you very pretty, btw.

    This stuff is seriously accurate. I didn't expect it.

    I'm not very familiar with socionics, but I've read Jung's description of the functions and made a little experiment:

    1) I typed my girlfriend's family members basing my typings ONLY on personality. For example, the mother is clearly a Fe, while the sister leads with Se;

    2) I clicked on this thread, and without looking at the name of the types, I chose the portraits that were similar to the family members. After choosing a portrait for all of them, I looked at the type of the portraits, and I realised that my two typings (function-wise, and based on the portraits) matched;

    3) I showed the 16 portraits to my girlfriend, and asked her to choose one for every family member. Her choices were IDENTICAL to mine;

    4) After this, I asked her to choose a portrait for me. She initially chose IEI, and after looking better she chose LII. LII and IEI are two of the three typings I got after posting a video on this site (the other typing was ILI).

    So yeah, I just wanted to share my current enthusiasm for V.I. with you, lol.
