I highly doubt that anyone has read this book by Nikolai Ostrovsky, but I would be interested in the type of the main character, Pawel Kortchagin. In short: it's about the dawn of Soviet Russia and the young people who started the revolution. Interestingly, this novel is (partly) autobiographically so it's first hand information. Of course, the book is filled with propaganda as well, but that's a inseparable part of it.
