Let me break this down a little bit better, and still this post will not do it justice.

    1.) external influences

    _____a.) chemical poisoning

    _____b.) psychological poisoning

    2.) internal influences

    _____a.) decadence

1a: additives in food, water, and medicine mentally dumb people down here in the USA (and to a lesser extent in other countries), some of those additives also causes hormone imbalances; such as femininization of boys and men.

1b: People are made to subtlety think and believe almost the opposite of what America essentially used to be 30 years or longer ago. Propaganda is carefully slipped into television to get people to unconsciously attribute what is good or bad according to the powers that be.

2a: Life is too easy here, most people do not appreciate their ability to critically think or the fact that they live in a great country. The men here are lazy and preoccupied with football and the women think they are entitled to everything for no reason.

1b. whatever what people think about America. propaganda - right, but it has it's roots back in 19th century.

2a. life too easy -- it's not that bad. what people are thinking it isn't that very important. like very very. yeah, they seem to be stupid. but it's like that everythere. it was pretty much the same back '50s, wasn't it?

Why nobody creates a thread about America? This song would nicely fit there.

yes. People are more easily controlled when they are desperate for sex, money, and intelligence.

Besides all the justified criticism about the USSR, I think it also should be remarked that certain groups of the Revolutionaries did not fight for the dictatorship of the proletariat, but for council communism. Especially in the beginning of the Soviet Union. (Soviet = council) These people did not accept the authoritarian views of other Marxists or Leninists. Even if no bourgeois could take part in the council of workers, it would still have been much more democratic than what later became the Soviet Union.

The fact that no such worker's council has ever existed permanently is an indicator that is not sustainable system and/or that it is easily corruptible.

You're right, it certainly could be a sign that it won't work for longer periods of time, but those councils were formed in very uncertain times, you know what I mean? Russia was going through the revolution, from the Czar to democracy (kind of, at the beginning!). The Bolsheviks, now having the whole power in their hands wanted more, so they forced the councils to break up. After Stalin came to power everything "democratic" was over, anyway. And in Germany's November revolution (after WWI) the people failed to integrate the councils into the constitution of the new German state. They set up the Weimar Republic as a result of connecting the ideas of the revolutionaries and the interests of the bourgeoisie.
