I'm kinda curious to hear all opinions now.

So once upon a time, my IEI friend typed me as an ILE (his SEE friend even agreed with it) way before I got into Socionics, and he asked me to take the test which I ended up getting what he expected. As I started to get into Socionics more, I took it many times and got the same result, except once I got IEE. All those other tests, I got ILE. I know tests aren't everything, and nothing really is if you really think about it, but I also know it wouldn't hurt to ask here.

I totally relate to the ENTp descriptions, except a few times I thought I could be INTj, and even ESTp. I know Pinnochio suggested ENTj, but I relate to that the least.

Those last two pictures are the most recent. Incase you're wondering, they're temporary tattoos and were made for the fun of it.

And incase you also didn't notice I do like art, but what drives me, academically-wise, is science. To be precise, the field of astronomy moves me, and I don't see why art and science should be a "separate" thing, if anything you can fuse them together.

I don't think there will be a right amount of information for me to put out here for now as an introduction, because the way I see it trying to describe myself is like trying put the universe at large into a jar. I technically could do that, I could say a bunch of things, but it still won't be "everything." It's like I could write a book from start to finish, but even books have new editions, series, and sequels, if you know what I mean.

But feel free to ask questions about anything.

P.S. Bigger props to you if you can type my cousin and aunt there by first impression.

I can say a lot about why I chose that major if you want to hear, but to make long story short there is nothing as big, vast, unexplored, and unknown as the universe. I don't even want to bother with the "known," because it's already known!

Style, sure. I usually keep it simple though; coat, jeans, sneakers or boots. Never too stuffy or formal. Being emotive? I wouldn't say so, I don't do it as much as I'd like to. I actually think I look too cold at times. My best friend and his brother (self-tested ESEs) are more warm, in your face "ahh," outgoing, and aggressive to provoke those emotional states.

I remember I was at the bar with him one time. These women coming inside the venue, and out of nowhere he yelled real loud:

Information seeking questions. I know that's my interpretation of it, and others may see it as "normal," or whatever, but my self-tested ISTj grandfather does the same.

And they get along pretty well actually.

I'm thinking my cousin's boyfriend (of 8 years) might be INFp, but I want to be sure.

I used to compose music, some sort of metal, I can't tell what style, but let's say some black-doom. My SLI brother used to call that "Pinocchio metal" .
Considering that it was a 3rd-party label put by someone who knows me well, I prefer to avoid any bias of inflated self-image using a "cool" nickname by simply adopting that.

I wonder out of all the words and names in the world, what made him choose that, because when I first came in here I was thinking about this:

No reference to immortality at all. Everything dies at one point, then again, we can take a step back from that and say nothing ever really gets "born" or "dies" in the first place.

Anyway, I actually came up with this name for an e-mail account about 5 years ago. To me it just means the way I see our universe. In other words, everything in perspective; all the life, death, thoughts, emotion, logic, science, art, differences, similarities, good, evil, reds, blues, Coca-Colas, Pepsis, pasts, futures, towns, cities, states, countries, continents, planets, star systems, star clusters, galaxies, galaxy clusters, universe, multiverses ... are all suspended in a timeless and boundless point in space in the grand scheme of things.

The recordings my brother judged upon were taken by my SLI ex (along with other memories), if I remember correctly - they were cassettes recorded on a deck and I don't own a cassette player anymore. But as soon as I record a demo which I keep in mind for a long time, I'll publish it.
It has a strict and limited target audience, though.

I understand. Why I asked you was because I know that people use to think about durability and immortality, while my view about this world is nihilistic, using to laugh at people who struggle to accomplish things for eternity. Assuming that the technology will evolve so much that humans will be able to escape this umbilical dependence on the Earth, the changes will be so great and the selection so drastic that basically nothing of what we've done so far will be meaningful or important, even remembered.

I have a similar view on things like you, in my case this led to non-attachment, all these things are meaningless outside of the perspective of our life. I get some sort of "fatal error" when I try to think about the extent of the matter in space. With time there's no problem, it's easy to conceive that it always existed and will always exist, but about the infinity of its extent. It's easy to acknowledge it on paper, but hard to conceive how it is infinite in a palpable manner, or where does it end otherwise.

I take it you think about that too when people go off and brag over their wealth, success, power, popularity and all of that other usual stuff?

This is the way I see it:

Fame and unfamiliarity is like bowl of soup; if you want to keep it hot, you can keep on putting it in the microwave before it gets cold, but it won't stay fresh for long though. Success and failure is like a glass of water, it will always get emptied and filled; somebody has to drink it, or somebody can spill it, either way it can be re-filled. Power and control is like owning a nice table that other people can sit along with with you. It will eventually end up to a new owner and a new one after that though. While striving for the perfect dinner in the dining room is not wrong, washing those dishes and repeating the same exact thing the next day boggles my mind. Even taking dump after it you eat is like sports; same shit different smell every year. Some people look forward to all of that. I don't because, in the end, what does all of that matter if nobody steps out the house?

Then again, even despite all that, I know each person is meant for something and isn't better or worse then one another. People may make the world go around, I just want to explore other worlds; metaphorically and physically.

P.S. About the "fatal error," let's just say I'd love to bring some firmware updates into this world in the future. That's one of the main reasons why I'm going for my Astronomy major because it's the only overriding thing I ever really think about at the end of the day. By the way, have you ever checked out the that video about the 10th dimension? ...I think there can be more dimensions then that!

Yeah, here my problem comes.

First, what I don't understand about you - and about LIEs I know, hence my typing - is why do you think this world requires an upgrade. This exemplifies how I view the difference between ILE and LIE, that people fail to understand because of the stereotypes:
- ILEs do what they need to do, immediate needs and requests, but often they conclude that this world needs an upgrade in that certain field they got stuck in; this requirement has a cause.
- LIEs consider that we need to evolve, to make more discoveries, progress, inventions, etc. The cause of their endeavors is progress itself.

This is why you read in the descriptions that LIEs are explorers and ILEs appear rather as homeboys. Venture characterizes LIEs, ILEs go for it when forced (requirement, need for a better method, threats, etc) by circumstances. ILEs are driven by a desire to understand (Fe-valuers), LIEs are driven by a desire to act, to accomplish something (Te). Ne (Objects function, Extroverted) tries to intuitively understand *something* only when that object appears, Ni (Fields function, Introverted) tries to understand *things*, the rules of everything.

Where have I said required? Not only are you putting words in my mouth again, but are misinterpreting what I'm saying and nitpicking with those LIE sunglasses on. I was curious and thought you were going to say something about SLE anyway. I'm glad you made that point that it is "I" and stereotypes though.

But here's the thing, should you listen to this guy?

Seriously I did have doubts. Mainly because my calm and quiet nature, then again that could be the -ILE. Also, I virtually have not seen an SEI around. I've met plenty of IEIs though, most of them are my good friends. Freakin' emos.

Hmmm, I gots a question for now if you're curious as to how I would type you. Not really sure about your type being ENTp though. What kind of arguments do you usually get into with people? Like, what topics are you must passionate about and get a rise out of you? (positively or negatively).

Watching your video, the way you described the types had a lot of / , maybe both. E.g. "I'm not SEI because SEIs are like <weird sound>." I have yet to see you use logic at all. You seem to be really into photo-typing (e.g. that erotic attitudes picture thread). You also posted a picture where you were making a bunch of different faces - not very ILE. Generally you seem like an SF type, not sure which one. I kind of prefer SEE at this point, but it's just a hunch.
