Default Which information elements are you most interested in?

For me, it's Ni, Se, Fe, and Ti. I have the least interest in Te and Si, and a passive interest in Fi and Ne.

So you're more Beta than Alpha. Is that what you're saying?

I mean which elements you're interested in, as far as your daily life is concerned.

If you were to classify the information you are most interested in in terms of information elements, which elements would those be?

Put it this way: which information ASPECTS most strike your fancy?

In terms of perceiving it as an ego function or input from others, this would be consistent with my ego and super-ID functions, respectively.

In terms of wanting to understand it as a socionics function, I'd say , , and . In other words, my unvalued functions minus the role.

Hmmm... I don't really want to know the deeper theoretical aspects of Se. I know that it's a label for an energy that I feel, and that's as far as I really *want* to go with it, all other motives aside. I'm honestly most interested in IMs from my superego/opposing quadra. What is Si? How does it work? What about Te? Fe I'm very slightly interested in. It would be useful to know what Ne is better in order to differentiate it from Ni more clearly, but I honestly don't care much about it. So... I'm interested in my superego IMs, and my creative. Sort of interested in my demonstrative as well. Don't want to theorize any more about my base or superid functions. Don't really care about my ignoring function, though it would be useful to understand it better.
Not a rule, just a trend.

IEI. Probably Fe subtype. Pretty sure I'm E4, sexual instinctual type, fairly confident that I'm a 3 wing now, so: IEI-Fe E4w3 sx/so. Considering 3w4 now, but pretty sure that 4 fits the best.

    Yes 'a ma'am that's pretty music...

I am grateful for the mystery of the soul, because without it, there could be no contemplation, except of the mysteries of divinity, which are far more dangerous to get wrong.

If this is a day to day thing, then my type should tell you... Other than I don't think about what IEs I need, that's kinda strange. As for theoretically, I'd like to explore , , and more. I feel like I have a stronger handle on the rest.

If I interpreted the question right (interest = wanting to learn more about) I'd say I'm most interested in Ne and least interested in Fi.

Se and Ti, for these are the tools by means of which society shall be rid of crime and evil, so that all may live under the watchful jurisdiction of the law and thus be free.

Ni and Si, the nature of field dynamics is still kind of fuzzy to me.

Ti. Funnily enough, also in the Myers-Briggs sense as well.

    EDIT

This is limiting it down to my #1 information aspect of conscious interest and application. Perhaps because it encompasses, or at least is present within, activities I find engaging and suitable for giving my mind a rest by giving it something to focus on, which is something I highly prize. Sort of like sitting down after you've been standing up for an uncomfortably long period of time.

How about this: when the conversation turns to something very complicated and you're not sure you can understand what is being discussed, which element do you try to change the subject towards?

For me, I'm pretty sure that I try to change it towards internal statics and/or combined with external dynamics. Conversations concerning these things would be my most preferred.

I would prefer to know what a person was responding to, what that response(s) was, and what actions may have led to that response...and what responses may have led to that action. I feel no need to communicate that understanding to others. But I do want it for myself. I crave it, one might say. (But then, in this home/area, I'm quite socially isolated, so "crave" is definitely decently sane by this time.)

I am also making attempts at some fundamental changes at home. If some poor pioneer happened to stumble upon our little home, I'd probably also bombard him/her with tons of questions about how to do some things, what to look out for, how to choose, etc. These questions, combined with how they got here, why they were out roaming, would they want to go back home, and does anyone know where they are at?

Needless to say, by now, if I actually was able to get into a conversation with a flesh and blood person other than my family, they'd probably be running away screaming. (the person, not my family, they're stuck with me, muhahahaah)

    Te and Ne
    -
    Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
    Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

I'm more interested in the introverted functions because they're harder to pinpoint.
