    Default Scooby Doo

I know it's silly but it's fun so just go with it.

    Fred
    Velma
    Daphne
    Shaggy
    Scooby

Scrappy? Really the show was way past its prime by then.

    Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

Hmmmm I don't know. Maybe Alpha?

    Fred: ILE
    Velma: LII
    Daphe: SEI
    Shaggy: also SEI
    Scooby: ? he's a cartoon dog. Let's see, ESE?

I don't know, I think it's hard to type a lot of fictional characters, let alone cartoon dogs. LOL

I don't know what I would type her; she's so nerdy but not really introverted enough to be INFj. LOL

I watch these a lot thanks to my 8-year-old, and I really think Velma is a big ole Ti fest. In a good way.

I think she's really cute and like empathetic in this certain way that reminded me of INFjs. But she also reminds me of Vero, and Vero is a really cute Alpha NT, so I couldn't quite decide. She could totally be INTj too.

And being a fictional character, she won't necessarily fit that well into one type anyway. She could be a bit of one and a bit of the other. The other thing is that she doesn't strike me as Se PoLR, but she wouldn't necessarily be consistent either.

I thought Alpha because I thought Velma seemed Ti-ish, and Shaggy seemed Si-ish. And then tried to fit them into Alpha. I think the tendency is for a lot of movies and shows to be more one quadra than balanced.

Hahahah Shaggy is sooooo INFp imo lol. If I find myself typing cartoons into quadras I might have to kill myself though.

I just watched an episode, to refresh my mental image of the characters. In my opinion:

    Fred: LSE
    Velma: LII
    Daphne: ESE
    Shaggy: IEE
    Scooby: Hard to tell. Fe-Ego?

It was so cheesy, it was hilarious and awesome.

How you people getting ESE for Daphne? I don't remember her saying much of anything in any of the shows. I gotta watch scooby doo again.

Certainly the later versions of Daphne (the 2002 cartoon series, the movies) have Daphne as ESE (she was played by Sarah Michelle Gellar in the movie, whom I type as ESE). Of course, there's not much to work with character-development-wise in the original cartoon -- she just seems to kind of fit the standard "popular girl" archetype that many ESEs fit into.

I am definitely doing too much research for this topic...
