Definite AB here (as in, so AB it's ridiculous). No idea what my actual blood type is though.

What do these signs mean—, , etc.? Why cannot socionists use symbols Ne, Ni etc. as in MBTI? Just because they have somewhat different meaning. Socionics and MBTI, each in its own way, have slightly modified the original Jung's description of his 8 psychological types. For this reason, (Ne) is not exactly the same as Ne in MBTI.

Just one example: in MBTI, Se (extraverted sensing) is associated with life pleasures, excitement etc. By contrast, the socionic function (extraverted sensing) is first and foremost associated with control and expansion of personal space (which sometimes can manifest in excessive aagression, but often also manifests in a capability of managing lots of people and things).

For this reason, we consider comparison between MBTI types and socionic types by functions to be rather useless than useful.

I'm O. Kinda sounds like me, although I relate to B too. I've always thought that I would be a hunter if we still lived in tribal society.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

I can't even kill an insect, so I guess the farmer profile works for me. I'm sure I would have a hard time learning how to use a bow an arrow if I was a primitive

I'm type O negative, the universal donor type.

I don't fit the O description very well.

I think there is about as much correlation between blood type and personality and as there is with astrology.

Blood type personalities are super popular in Japan. There's even spots on cell phones to put your contacts's types lol. One of the Japs here said I was probably A, and I don't know if it's true so I'll just go with it

I think they are too superstitious and rely heavily on horoscope and personality system. The blood type personality doesn't make sense at all and it's shown on this thread, because there are four types, for four billion people. even horoscope makes more sense than that. If they are even exposed to Enneagram/Socionics and it gets popular there they would utilized it for I mean almost everything.

A girl I was dating said she was oh so great at sex etc, but she didn't do blowjobs.

Socionics is actually quite popular among Japanese psychologists I hear. Ironically, MBTI has more of a hold in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet bloc.

Well the Japanese are pretty superstitious by nature. They have lots of little taboo rules and things to work around, and it gets pretty annoying to memorize them all when you're a foreigner there. They also like to judge people based on relatively insignificant things like blood-type or handwriting.

    *blink*

Socionics is more popular than MBTI east of Germany.

Since blood types are genetic, that would make personalities genetic. I don't believe personalities are genetic.

SLE-Ti, LSI-Se, and ILE-Ti are much more likely than average to have type O Negative blood.
