Just black. I learned to drink it that way so I would never have to worry about adding cream or sugar. Too much work. Now it's the only way I like it, and I save a minute every day.

Well yeah you're actually right, when I was in Denmark I often drunk American coffee at 7-11 (the most expensive type, yes I'm snobby about coffee) and it did taste really good. Too bad we don't have any 7-11s here in Italy.

err, why not the Starbucks coffee bean you can buy in their stores? FWIW Maxwell/Folgers/Mr Coffee/Nescafe are a class below In my opinion.

Really? why do you said that? I didn't sense any Sarcasm in his part, some people really do prefer the causal quick American Coffee provided in deli and coffee stand (they have gotten used to the taste). Of course they won't start brewing brand name coffee which isn't that much more expensive anyway than those you can buy in the supermarket.

People who prefer instant stuff to an Italian espresso for any reason other than convenience obviously don't know quality when they taste it, and should be shot on sight. Nah, just kidding.. kinda.. but I figured that Cyrano was thinking along similar lines? Especially since he mentioned "the last drop", which is usually notably foul, if the first one was ok. Perhaps I'm just projecting though. :-p Getting used to the taste is no excuse!

Ahah, I don't know how Maxwell House tastes, so he might very well have been sarcastic. Still, sometimes a bit of variety is cool, even though at the end of my 6-months stay I was terribly missing espresso.

I tried espresso only a few times, but I am thinking in between the lines that it's too thick, too concentrated to drink it daily, with regular coffee I can drink 3-4 cups a day no problem like as frequent as water. I can't do that with espresso nor do I really know anyway who drinks it in volume like it can be done with coffee.

It's not bad at all, they have this taste when it's brew that you just know that it's Maxwell house coffee. For some reason, I think that is the choice of coffee in all office job, No joke.

I was thinking of coffee made on an espresso base as opposed to instant coffee. Espresso shots are too strong for me too. :-p Your argument that you can drink regular coffee in volume makes me laugh. :-p Quality > quantity! Take it easy, Numbers!

Drinking an excess of anything is obviously of the Devil - Gluttony being one of the Seven Deadly Sins.

What does God have to do with this anyway?

I'd rather not tell them that, being that they outnumber me.

A good amount of cream/milk but not too much sugar. I like my coffee about a shade lighter than my skin tone (which is fairly light), maybe the same shade. Enough sugar so that it's not bitter but not so much sugar that it tastes like candy. The cream/milk is more important than the sugar.
Not a rule, just a trend.

IEI. Probably Fe subtype. Pretty sure I'm E4, sexual instinctual type, fairly confident that I'm a 3 wing now, so: IEI-Fe E4w3 sx/so. Considering 3w4 now, but pretty sure that 4 fits the best.

    Yes 'a ma'am that's pretty music...

I like my coffee with sugar and milk and a cigarette.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

lotsa milk or cream so it's a nice caramel color, with several sugar packets. Not too hot as I hate to burn my tongue, so just warm enough.

During the week I only drink tea with no sugar or cream. So weekends I splurge and get all crazy caffeinated.

hmmm if I drank coffee I think I'd just like pure black. No added shit at all. I love the smell of it. I just think cream with coffee is sort of weak plus it has a yucky scent to me. Plus it reflects my rather pure, translucent personality.

Also when I went to germany for a week I noticed european coffee is much better admitingly, its stronger but not in a disgusting way, american coffee is mostly weak bullshit, and starbucks makes up for it slightly but still is piss water compared to european coffee.

I know people are going to promote their local coffe shop over starbucks, but honestly, alot of coffee shops I've been to around campus and so forth have had shitty coffee and only offer atmosphere to their clients.
